You really are an impossibly weird guy. I have to give you credit for actually doing a different joke with this one and the very end was great.

I see Mr Triangle as a character who has grown up, and put his past behind him. This is exactly what bothers me, telling someone to move on from something awful they made ten years ago and have acknowledged plenty of times just feels bitter. The satire would work better if it wasn't so harshly pers...

Deforestation 1 was funnier but anyone who didn't expect this joke to get beaten into the ground was crazy.

MG Duck would have been funnier if it had text to go along with the voice acting because there was honestly a lot of stuff I couldn't quite make out.

It also would have been better without ripped backdrops but I guess that was its point.

There's usually none, at all. It's just that a couple issues in recent months have had a lot more submissions.

So I'm looking at the examples... Is it generally accepted to require user input to advance the text boxes? I was under the impression that a "movie" should be fully automatic. At least, that's how I'm planning mine. Either way is fine. The problem with automatic advancement is some peopl...

:???: Sorry, I didn't mean to start up a shitstorm, just wanted some clarification. Anyway, at least it's clear now. It's going to be tough trying to make portraits that will work in my project as well as the modified ones, but I'll give it a shot. Your question was fine, and it was asked in a perf...

You guys are being too stingy on people's style . Nobody had a problem with 8-bit rules, but if they did I'm sure they'd rally for rule change. This is an attack on creativity and style for sure. >:( You know what, you're an idiot. Nothing is going to be accomplished here. Go back to IRC to whine a...

I've split the crying about the contest rules into a separate thread because it was contributing nothing to discussion and never will and will at best convince newer users that this place isn't worth bothering with. If you've got questions about the rules and want to discuss them, do that here. If y...

All contests have rules, working within the confines of the rules is what makes them fun. If someone wanted to use 16-bit sprites in an 8-bit contest that would be a violation of the rules and defeat the purpose even if the game they made was great. This is a very, very simple ruleset. If you don't ...

If he's manipulating the portraits rather than taking them outright, I'd argue it's original work... but what do I know. This is a better post, do it this way people. Making modified sprites from someone else's game is technically an original work, but that's the kind of thing I want to avoid. Draw...

Sorry if this seems redundant, but I just want to clarify: I was planning to manipulate a number of public domain photographs as portraits for my project. Does this rule ban that? Unfortunately yes, I really am curious to see what this would result in but the rule's the rule. We can [s]recycle[/s] ...
