The maptiles aren't special, but they compliment the style. I like both of those NPC graphics. I think that's what people see in it. It's quirky and anti-high art. Pretty much this, yeah. It's charming in its simplicity, and it fits the mood it's going for really well. These graphics wouldn't work a...

I actually missed the Star Quest review until Willy commented on it, but if you wanted a review from someone who somewhat enjoyed it: http://superwalrusland.com/ohr/issue47/sq/sq.html I really disagree that anyone can create graphics like these and have them work. It takes a certain amount of effort...

They're visually memorable, easy to draw, they're in lots of games, and some people really like some of those games a lot. You can do better than this.

I don't plan to add visuals but I am definitely updating the game and adding music once the contest's officially closed.

Your reviews are good and they already have at least one screenshot, the only real additional requirement for printing a review is to have a title screenshot and two of the game itself. Your HOHR Tribute review in particular would be great to have with just a couple more screenshots if you've got ti...

I am happy to see that so many people are in the review writing mood! Any chance any of you guys want to contribute some of these to HS? The past few issues have been slim as far as reviews go. Good to see the lethargy has passed! Keep up the good work!

Star Quest is one of the most bizarre things released here and I'm glad to see it has a few fans.

It's time to decide which games a tiny minority of readers think are the best of the previous year. WHEN Voting begins now and goes until Mar...

This is not a review, moving it to another section. Most games on this site do not include native Mac files. You can download the Mac/Linux versions of the OHR game player here: http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/Downloads.html

Not counting an ancient hand-me-down which I never used (I think I sent two text messages with it), I got my first cellphone this month. It's an android. So an android port would be at the top of my wish-list. Wish those dang OHR devs would hurry up! This is the right answer (or iOS) since all of t...
