I haven't played this or Horse Game yet because while I'm a huge fan I'm also a terrible and lazy person.

Mouse scurried around in the empty spaces between the other party adventurers. He looked around for coins, pins, interestingly-shaped pebbles, and other small and shiny objects while nothing else seemed to be going on.

Back when Paint.net functioned reasonably well for me I made fairly heavy use of its dithering function. For objects as small as the OHR's screen resolution I usually don't see much reason to bother with it.

:V I'm glad you like it. If you know how, feel free to add levels to your mouse. You can be up to 11th level. Otherwise, I may or may not level you myself. Depends on what you do and such. Yeah, I don't really understand the system so I don't think I'll be able to do any leveling. I couldn't build ...

This is part of why I never got into doing shaded graphics. Then after a long time of doing that I found I preferred the way un-shaded digital art looked anyway.

Mouse stared in amazement at the magic being wrought around him. Whiskers twitching, he says "My life is going to be short no matter what I do, so I'd might as well make it meaningful while I'm at it."

Mouse decides that until he has something more specific to do, he will simply share some of his rations. He offers a single spearmint leaf to each newcomer he makes eye contact with.

Mouse, upon chewing his spearmint leaves, regained his senses and realized that some mice do indeed talk, and he is one of them. He had great insight, for a mouse, and thus decided it would be prudent to help these adventurers to the best of his (admittedly limited) abilities. "This mouse is M...

Cool, I meant that post as a joke and now I've got an awesome character. Now I need to start actually paying attention.

Also helps if you have a second monitor. And not just for pixel art, but for any sort of artsy stuff. You your canvas maximized in one monitor, and all of your tools and a zoomed-out overview of your canvas on your other monitor. Works wonders. Sounds expensive, both for money and for space. If I h...

Anything where antialiasing is the default gets a thumbs down for my general tastes in working digital art or digitally coloring pen and paper art. It gets a huge NO, JUST NO on pixel art. The easier it is to turn off antialiasing, the better. GIMP has a bad userface for reasons other than its windo...
