And I am now almost done with the updates I came up with based on this testing! Woo hoo!

It was a success!

By the way, this is an incredibly helpful method of testing, anyone reading this thread. If you can ever arrange it, you truly should.

Motrya 24.5% is on track for release in the contest. I'm kind of nervous about it, but I do think it's going to be an amazing game when it's complete.

Hey, I'd be more than happy to do this - sounds similar to psychological experiments I took part in last year at university. I live in NZ, so timezones could be an issue. Let me know when suits you, as for myself the hours I'd prefer to do this are: Sunday after 10pm NZ time... Monday and Thursday ...

Stream Testing

I'm not sure if anybody in the community's ever tried something like this before, but I am at a phase where I'd like to have another tester for Motrya and I'm interested in watching a new player play. Unfortunately, I live in a rather secluded area and don't know many "NERDS" that would be...

Usually when I plan all of the stats out in a spreadsheet, it ends up not meaning much because things change so much during testing. It's a good way to get started, though.

You could use custom menus to do this. It's very complicated, though, and would take a lot of effort.

So I'm definitely on track to have Eternity Fragment (1986) finished by the deadline, and maybe I'll have time to do the "enhanced" story mode that I won't spoil here. I'm plotting out everything on paper before putting it into the game, so everything's kept as neat as possible (keeps in-...

The combat is intentionally deadly, also why both you and your enemies never get more than 100 Health. But it's not just random deaths. For the record, I can beat the game with a variety of stat builds without dying once, because I know the tactics for each boss. This sort of design should be rewar...

Animated picture boxes? Dude, you're gonna have to share that script. Yeah, so... I'm not getting mine done in time. I've got maybe 10 minutes of gameplay, and that's assuming the player is doing 50% of everything I'm giving. If they're a leveler, and enjoy doing EVERY SINGLE QUEST, this game MIGHT...

"James Fixes a Bug" is the best thing ever. This should be a series.

To be honest, if it's all text it should be pretty easy to code without an engine in most languages.

On that note, I would suggest editing the menu in your game down to just the Quit/Volume commands.

You need to use Custom Menus, and it will probably involve plotscripting as well.
