What's your reasoning for not using a main loop instead of timers? Just simplicity, or is there something more complicated about it that I'm not seeing?

Thanks! My main goal with making videos is basically to advertise all the games here. Not that I have a following, but people are more inclined to watch videos than read reviews. That being said, I'm planning on adding this video into an actual review, like how Pepsi did. If I hadn't edited down tha...

Hmm, does this mean I can't start working on a game until May? I want to start playing with some mechanics before I lose the ideas I have, but I'm afraid of getting carried away and making something more substantial than planned. I forget what the specific rules are.

Try adding something(s) communal that people are using together. Maybe they're tanning hides, or crafting weapons, or tending a fire/cooking. Things for NPCs to do instead of just hanging around. People rarely just hang out and do nothing.

(Looks great though!)

Truly amazed by this. I feel like I've received some truly magical items. I especially like the small skulls and the Greater Sigil of Warding Against Jolly Fey. I'm either powerfully blessed or POWERFULLY cursed. I'm excited either way. Unfortunately I do not have a floppy disc drive so I will be fo...

The volume on startup can be set by going to Edit General Game Settings, and at the bottom, there will be options for Initial music volume and Initial sound effects volume. You can adjust these for the initial values, and then while playing a game, you can use the menu item s for music and sound vol...

I'll try to help you out! So when you're editing a text box, it brings up a run-down of various codes you can type in the textbox to represent different values. To represent a variable's value, you're going to want to type "${V#}" where # is the global variable ID number. This means in the...

Alright, so I've got some NPC interaction coming along. It's far from perfect, but it's almost even usable. NPCs are technically usable, but they don't have anything to say at the moment so I didn't show that off in this gif. What I did manage to do is get NPC collisions. Every NPC and the player ha...

Mine came in the mail! I'm not home to retrieve it yet, but I will be on Tuesday. Just wanted to confirm that it made it to its destination.

Oh boy! I have a final exam on Friday, but after that I'm totally free. I really look forward to checking this out with a friend! I might print it out and try it solo in the meantime.
