Oh yeah, that's one thing I forgot to mention. There were some visual inconsistencies with tiles because some of them are on the regular 20x20 grid (like the road tiles on the second screen) and others were offset by about halfway up or down (like the cliff bottoms or the bridge). Even though the ti...

Text importing woes
I've decided to just bite the bullet and get all of my rough draft NPC and plot dialogue inserted into the game file. But I get an error message in Custom if any of the text I paste in from Focuswriter or LibreOffice (.odt format) has non-ANSI characters, the most common being a curled single quote....

Basically, I did estimates on how long certain parts of this part of the game project would take to complete, both to know how much time per week I would need to commit to, and also to prevent myself from overscoping. With that, I made an easily doable, <10 hour/week schedule to work on game stuff a...

Oh damn, that really really sucks. :\ Something I did at work on lunchbreaks while cramming to get a tech demo of Hollowkeep done in a month was put a .ZIP portable folder of OHRRPGCE/Custom on a flash drive, and just run it directly from the flash drive. It worked, though its read/writes were kind ...

Default directory in Custom stuck on Documents
I'm using Callipygous on Linux Mint 17.3 and the Load Existing Game directory keeps going to Documents. Is there a setting file where I can set another directory to default to?
On W7, it seems to default to the folder that Custom is in.

Let's see, the only thing I don't understand visually is the face, are the red pixels supposed to be their mouth? It's also hard to tell what direction they're facing. If their head is facing completely to the right, then the perspective of the rest of their body shouldn't be turned more than 90 deg...

As an aside, the only huge flaw at this point is that the main character's wolf ears perfectly match the location of the upper left and upper right spikes, which makes it impossible to see if the tile to the north has spikes or not. This could very well be the most challenging part of making this wh...
