I'm probably just going to use timers, I can't wrap my head around how to rewrite what I've already done in terms of making values update every tick. It'd probably be March by the time I even got the engine working if I did that, and I'd rather work on making an actual game instead.

OK, I finally figured it out after examining what the "while true" loop was doing step by step... It wasn't re-checking the screen scrolling zones with "screen edge check" on the same tick after resuming playing movement, so if you were to hold the opposite direction key right af...

I'm having some difficulty getting the scrolling scripts to work properly. It mostly works, but whenever I walk to a different screen and then immediately walk back to the previous screen, it doesn't trigger the script and basically breaks the game. I should be able to figure out how to make Zelda 1 style scrolling scripts on my own. As far as hit detection for attacks goes, I'm a bit clueless. Are there any scripts I could look at for reference that involve hitboxes?

By the way, I seem to have discovered an engine bug while playing with Gatcha tickets.

It involves erasing Hati from existence via the Dismiss menu.
