In the Canadian (British) system we use commas before every "and" but I agree that in a lot of cases this does look comma-heavy On the contrary, putting commas there is the American (and apparently Canadian) way, while I was taught to leave them out. See Serial comma . Anyway I wasn't com...

It does make a big difference what you're encoding though. Rather different bitrates are appropriate for voice (low I think), ambience (low), sound effects, noise, and complex rapidly changing music with lots of instruments (higher). Okay. Well I guess I'll keep that in mind, and judge my imported ...

Great! I hope you like how I arranged your work. Since a lot of your work was in a rectangular format, I ended up filling in the blank left-over space with zoomed in features that I thought were worthy of showing off the detail on.

When converting to ogg with Audacity, after you pick "Export" and choose Ogg as the file format, click on "Options" and take the quality down to 2. It will make the file size smaller, without any noticeable loss of sound quality. I even go down to 1 for some of my music. Audacit...

Very cool! I'm wondering, where did you find the other artists? All friends of yours? The text on the cover (is that the inner cover?) is kind of hard to read and I wonder whether spacing between the lines would look better? Lots of typos: page 3: "it's" (What was the plan for use of fund...

So far everyone seems to like the draft! I made a few small personal preference changes for those who have asked. I think for the book cover I will just use the image I had drawn up for the inner title. I'll make the whole outer cover completely white, which I think should look nice and simple. I am...

It'll be for my current game "Sunken" (name subject to change). I have not got to a point in development where I feel like I could release a demo. And I'll definitely go for the colour change without moving if I can pull it off. Let me know when you've got it uploaded. I'd certainly like ...

Looking at it a little more, I was wondering if you could re-order my pages slightly? I would like to have the last picture (Family Photo At The Park) moved to the beginning of my section. I like having it closest to my bio, and I don't want it to be mistaken for the conclusion of the action-hero s...

My impressions so far: A Hagen starts this book off with a bang. I really love his stuff. Over and over I keep thinking "this is great, I wish this was from a game" I love the variety. I wasn't expecting such a big range. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to Thiago Miglian's section a...

Here's the link for anyone who's excited to see it now: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x7wztn0xuwv5pbt/EIRPDraft.pdf I want everyone who looks through this to keep an eye out for formatting errors, and spelling mistakes, then let me know so I can make the changes. I'll also email/slimemail this link to a...

The draft is done now. The file size is pretty big, so sending to everyone individual will be a pain. What I'm going to do is throw it in my dropbox and share a link to it so everyone can access it. I'm not 100% sure how to do this so it might take a bit of figuring out. I'll send everyone a link so...

I was thinking I'd somehow try to pull off the colour change code by making an "eachstep" script, so that every time my character takes a step the screens color slightly changes. To change the colour I think there's an RGB() command I can use to slowly modify the colours. Or now that I thi...

That sucks about the conviction, but the road trip and schooling will be well worth it. The next character idea sounds good for revolving jokes around. I too was thinking of having some natural hallucinogens in my game. Though I plan to make them so when my characters take them, they will effect thi...

Cool. I just tried the game, and it's very good. The storyline is engaging, and nothing in the game seems redundant. I'd say you're on the right track. The wizard character is very relatable... I've done many a shrooms in my day, and burnt a few down while I was at it. Can't say I ever felt the need...
