"Let's end this."

Kalar holds out a hand, finger clutched in a claw. He channels divine energy into his hand, and then brings it down in a tearing motion at the nearest wight, pouring his power into the movement.

Things are getting dicey. Kalar considers bringing a zombie ogre onto the field, but decides instead to go for quantity. He holds up his holy symbol, channeling the power he enchanted into it, says the word "morvire", and animates every single body in the room as zombies under his command...

Might be gone most of the day tomorrow, so going to post my next action, just in case. After casting searing light (next round), and assuming the bloodhulks are still able to hold back the wights, Kalar will use his Holy Symbol of Animation (the one he enchanted) to animate all of the bodies in the ...

Hmm, wight-like... Nah, I'll still go for it. Kalar's immune to disease, ability damage, negative energy effects, negative levels, etc... so it might still be doable. As for the physical attacks, I'll just have to rely on Kalar's high AC and DR for this fight. But at first sign of the beholder, Kala...

"Get ready."

Kalar orders one of his bloodhulks to open the door, or failing that, smash it down.

Oh, and I completely forgot about a replacement magic item. Kalar will go with a second glove of healing, but one that's a bit more powerful than Kalar's. Should be useful for either Voulton or Rachelle, as they're both front-line fighters. Glove of Healing Upon using the command word "mani&quo...

With the two behind him, and bloodhulks in front of him, Kalar begins moving into the dungeon. "Fair warning, there's a beholder down there as well, but I don't plan on going deep enough to encounter it. I had hoped for Lynda to be the one to face it, but it seems she's taken this opportunity ...

"Voulton, good to see you. We were attacked by strange bug-like creatures, but it seems Hrulgin and rob made quick work of them. We're possibly under attack by some powerful undead creature from the dungeon though. It looked like some kind of wraith, so I'll take point this time, but I could u...

Just went back to check . When Kalar first controlled them and had that run-in with Dispater, he started out with 5 (50 HD) Then he had to release one for Bill (10 HD), bringing it down to 4. He had to release one, because each bloodhulk is worth 10 HD, and he can animate 44 HD and control 11 HD of ...

"Rob, I could use some support here. There's a pretty powerful wraith or something that just killed off my minions in there, and chances are, it's coming this way. Might be better to head it off than have it charge us." Kalar readies his holy symbol and along with the rest of his minions,...

"Is that so? Well, she's done something similar in the past, perhaps her current ghostly nature caused it to happen in order to allow further healing. If it comes down to it, I can cast a spell that will force her to materialize here, so I would not be overly concerned. At least for now, we ne...
