And who is Archie? Is that Azedarc's new nickname? Or a product of autocorrect? :) Heh, that's just what I've always been calling him. Archbishop Azderac -> Archie for short. And yeah, they still have that playing card(?) or something that has one wish remaining. As far as I remember, it's with Rob...

"Well, if Jehan knows about this, then why don't we ask him?" Kalar gestures towards the body he's been dragging around. "The Beast is set to appear tomorrow morning. Come midnight, I can ask Jehan questions about the Beast, such as how to identify it or where the ring is hidden. In ...

Is the beast connected to Archie? I thought it was just another thing in the area.

And yeah, that's what I figured too, that the beast is currently hiding, but will somehow and for some reason manifest tomorrow. Dan didn't really explain why it would though, so I'm confused on that part.

Regarding the cathedral, what sort of construction are we looking at? Standard Gothic cathedral with loads of flying buttresses? Or something simpler? Also, from where we are, what's our estimated size of the town, i.e. number of buildings, how many people, general area, etc... Oh, and last question...

"Do you know what sort of military this place has? Further, just what exactly is this 'beast'? If we are to destroy it to get the ring, we should at least have as much information as possible as to what we're up against. The last great beast we fought nearly killed us, and I want to go into th...

"Most interesting. Perhaps we might do some reconnaissance? Alternatively, we could always just try storming the place, but I would rather avoid such direct confrontation. Still, should the need arise, we'd best be ready, I suppose." Kalar focuses on his holy symbol, channeling power into...

Kalar moves forward without saying a word, with Jim and his army following close behind him.

"Very well. Will you be able to transport my necrosis carnex at least?"

Kalar moves in closer, just enough to hear what's being said.

Not quite the news he was expecting or hoping for. Kalar decides that he had better inform the others of this as soon as possible. For now, he will wait on the outskirts of town, in the woods south of the town, hoping to catch sight of the others. He makes sure that Jim and his small army are well ...

Excellent. Kalar stashes the jewelry and the bracers in his pack to be sold later. The sword though, he straps to his waist. Chances are, he'll never actually use it in combat, but should he ever get into a fight, it might buy him a few extra seconds if his opponent is waiting for him to draw the w...

As soon as he is finished, Kalar holds up his holy symbol, focusing divine power through it. He summons a massive wall of water over the graveyard, letting the water come crashing down into the newly-turned earth to wash the soil around enough to cover the holes and plowed earth. Once that is done,...

If the plow doesn't work, or if Kalar notices it damages the bodies too much, he'll stop plowing. At midnight, when he prays for spells, he'll prepare Burrow (Underdark) and cast it. It grants burrow movement speed of 10 feet. He'll use that the excavate all of the bodies and then take them all to t...

Interesting. Kalar takes out his holy symbol, focusing divine power into it. He touches the large statue and wills it into the shape of a large plow. He then fastens it to Jim before touching him with his holy symbol to increase his strength. Then he orders Jim to drag the plow across the dirt, rev...

Kalar looks around, searching for any important looking places. Or perhaps a gravedigger's shack, or any indication of a temple or deity this place is consecrated by. He also uses the skull in his pack to search for any undead. He makes sure to not point it at himself or at Jim to avoid getting a f...
