Kalar does not give ground and instead says: "No. I gave my word that I would do this, and I do not go back on my word. Even for you. And who is the greater fool? He who does all he can with his own hands, or he who runs to his master at the first sign of danger? I have accomplished all I can ...

"Very well." Kalar takes his gold and heads off, away from the others. Before finding a place to buy new gear, he finds a dark, secluded spot. There, he traces a circle on the ground and lights incense. Then he begins a low chanting, calling on his deity for his blessing in what is about ...

"Time to go."

Kalar has Jim run to him, so that he can be whisked away with Dan as well, along with as many skeletons as possible. Those who remain behind though, he'll have them try to hold Azderec back. They will certainly be destroyed, but they might provide a few extra seconds.

With all that's going on, Kalar figures that at least some concealment will be useful. He takes his holy symbol out to cover himself in darkness before heading for Harvey to pick him up and get out of the city.

Now or never. Kalar flies higher, but not high enough to breach whatever boundary he had run into before. He then flies towards the inquisitors. He reaches into his pack and retrieves the rope with the dozens upon dozens of tankards and wooden spikes. He then flies over the inquisitors, and as he d...

"Friend Harvey, I do believe that is our signal to move. I'll take to the skies and keep watch from there, if I see anything I will land and alert you." With that, Kalar flies up, heading in the direction of the shouting. He makes sure to stay at least a couple hundred feet up, just in ca...
