Kalar finishes his meditation, all of his spells magically strengthened by the incense. He sees the items, then says:

"Here, let me see those."

He manifests his blade, passing it over the items to see what they are.

"Is that the best of ideas? What if it only affects you? And how do we even know if the voice is telling the truth? If what we've learned is correct, it needs the items to break the curse,and we have those items. At the very least, go into this prepared and use that wish."
