The skeleton(?) looks as if it's rather sad, like it doesn't quite want to be there and would rather be at home working on his stamp collection :v: The blob and the thingy look pretty good though, as do the hero sprites. Edit: I might be a bit off kilter here, but the boy(?) hero reminds me of the L...

The rope is tied to the bookshelf now, and provides a solid anchor for the others. It takes some effort and some time, but soon everyone is safely up in the room.

Er... I doubt that the world has any circus trolls :P Though if you want to play a monstrous humanoid, I'd be ok with something that has up to +3 level adjustment, though that may be pushing it.

The bookshelves look particularly heavy, and if a rope were fastened to them, they would probably hold better than the wall.

Beardthar You climb up the rope. Around halfway up, the rope seems to give a little, perhaps an inch or so, but nothing more than that. You make it safely to the second floor window and peer through the torn boards that were blocking up the window. The window seems to provide light, or would have p...

Beardthar

You test your weight on the rope. The mortar seems to hold, and a few tugs don't dislodge anything. You guess it will hold the weight of one person, though probably not more than that. Heavy armor might also be a problem.

Teacher by profession, though I do most of my work at home now, working with distance learning. Gives me a lot of flexibility with how I allocate my time :v:

Actually been working on new pages, but doing them all in a text editor on my machine first, as I find editing on the actual Wiki to be rather tedious. I've gone through a couple of chapters, and I'll prolly have them up this weekend.

BMR wants to LARP... Or join the SCA... But sincerely doubts the practicality of doing SCA combat in the middle of a tropical jungle :v:

The grappling hook soars through the air and manages to hook onto one of the boards. A light tug, however, causes the rotting wood to break, causing the grappling hook to come free. A second throw manages to latch onto a windowsill on the second floor though. A few tugs show that it's relatively sec...

Ah, I found it, this is what it reminds me of. Though yours does have a different feel to it, yours is less happy and more adventure-y. I don't know if I'm making any sense :v:
