To my knowledge, wait will, by itself, wait for a single tick unless you specify how many ticks to wait for. I may be wrong, but I don't see why you need the wait that you're using after fade screen out unless you want to wait for an extended period of time, in which case you'd have to specify just ...

And I don't want to just straight up copy Mogri's art style, even though it's awesome in its "get down to business" style. He hardly has a monopoly on that style! It's used in many OHR and non-OHR games. I'm sick of drawing gritty realistic graphics and want to try something simple like t...

Take Skyrim, I'm sitting on a main sword & board guy who doesn't feel pain from anything less than an Ancient Dragon. I could have stopped at Ebony armor and had the game set. Its becoming more powerful that's half the fun. That, or making something work that traditionally/logically shouldn't w...

why the walls? I know fundamentally its to break up to map and make it look more three dimensional, and that's good. But why would a town build itself like that? Are they there for higher ground because the canal floods regularly? Is it to deter, and/or annoying an invader of some sort? Is it a des...

Hehe, indeed, haven't gotten around to the barrels yet, though that's definitely on my list of ToDos.

Hmm, now that you point it out, I can see the problem with the tree, I'll get on that as well.

Cheers!

Face-Maker thread

So I've been working on the next version of my face maker. I've redone the graphics because I found that I wasn't maximizing my use of the 50x50 square. The images have thus been made larger within the square in order to allow for more detail. I'm also working on a way to change the color of the hai...

Le gasp! Do mine eyes deceive me? Are there really 16,000 available tags now? Does this mean I can now restructure my tags to allow for longer and more in-depth conversations and whatnot?

To the downloads section!

DOS game time! Prince of Persia also had some brilliant dungeons, though I don't see how that would really apply to an OHR game. In PoP, the triggering of tiles, timing jumps, etc... played really well. I suppose it could translate to the OHR by making different areas of a dungeon only open up when ...

That actually sounds rather interesting. Looking forward to seeing how it's implemented in your game and how it plays.

Though a bit dated, and though they're not really "dungeons" in the usual sense of the word, I've found the levels of this to be some of the best I've ever played.
