Well, in response to point 1, there's also a lot of non-copyrighted music out there, most of which is under Creative Commons. There's Jamendo, or CCMixter (the latter of which I get music from) which both have a lot of CC and PD work. On the other hand, I agree that recognizable music won't work, be...

Kolobor listens intently to the assassin speaking. Much of the subtlety goes over his head though, but he is nevertheless fascinated by the magical ability the assassin shows. That was amazing, friend Czolgosziel! Hmm, I'm guessing that fascinating power comes from your ring? Such amazing wonders! I...

Akbar The paladin speaks to Akbar: What? Yes, no *cough* that's not important. You must get back to the order, have them send more *cough* men here. This vampire, whoever he is, he is not working alone. *cough* There is something going on, it involves the Mardan Empire, and *cough* possibly the mai...

It might be a bit clunky, but you could possibly define those areas as zones. And using the eachstep plotscript, you could check if the player is in said zone, and if such is the case, add to the radiation counter using a script. That way, you'd have more fine control over it compared to using harm ...

Are you using Alectormancy? 1000 tags was the max allowed, and you probably found a bug about that limit not being enforced correctly. In the current nightly wip builds, tags have ben expanded, and now go up to 15999 (one time-tags have been moved to a separate numbering system, so these don't conf...

Alternatively, you could do something like mouse-aim/shoot like Abuse (though that's a side-scroller), but that would certainly overcomplicate things. Still, I've seen some good top-down Flash games that use the mouse to aim and shoot, but as that's Flash, I'm not sure just how well it would work wi...

Kolobor Ulpoh wrote: Ah, so this little creature is a kobold? Fascinating! Now I'm even more intrigued to learn more about them.

A drink you say? Here, on me!

Kolobor takes one of his mead-filled waterskins and tosses it over to Dhiraj.

I'm pretty sure TMC (or was it James? I can't remember) has done a game with Zelda-like combat, though I can't quite remember the name of the game. From what I remember, the game was set in... a desert? Or something like that. As for the scripting, I think it might be complicated, but certainly doab...

Beardthar Comprehend Language (1d20 + Ranks + STR) Beardthar: 16 + 0 + 2 = 18 The gnoll shouts something in gnollish at the group. At best, you can just about make out what he's saying as: "I saw a person *something* *something* *something* we need to be careful! They *something* *something* f...

Kolobor chuckles and sets Vire down as gently as he can. Just having a bit of fun there. Though I must admit, I've never seen a lizardfolk so small. Was it a birth defect on his part? Or perhaps he's still a juvenile? Your younger brother perhaps? Kolobor shifts back into his human form and then sta...

Beardthar Beardthar jumps forward and whips out a potion from his pack. With just about as much finesse, he forces the contents of the potion down Tim-Tim's throat. The potion takes effect, and Tim-Tim suddenly sits up, coughing and sputtering. Tim-Tim Brought back from unconsciousness, Tim-Tim awa...

Looking up from tossing Vire around, Kolobor rumbles: Hmm, yes, I would have to agree with lady Zoogy here. If they are indeed how she describes them, then I believe they may indeed be allies. Still oblivious to the fact that Vire is a kobold, he asks: Say, what do these "kobold" things lo...
