Righto, so I have a script that will open and close doors whenever the player walks through a door. The script checks if the player is on a certain set of zones, and based on those zones and the direction of the player, the door will either open or close. The end effect looks like this: http://i1171...

New Sprites

What is this? Could BMR be making a compilation of different 32 × 40 sprites? Maybe it's a sprite-maker like his face-maker utility? Something to include with BMRT? Who knows! http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/SpriteSetter.gif Actually, even BMR doesn't know, hehe. I'm not yet quite sure...

Well, I suppose I've been spoiled by Ultima games from VI and up, but I've always enjoyed having the enemies on screen actually chasing my sorry behind around the dungeon as I run crying like a little girl from the lich about to create Avatar flambe. On the other hand, that's not really applicable t...

Hmm, that's not a bad idea actually. And it would be a trivial matter to implement. I'll go with using both of them then.

...

Or maybe even three of them? Gah! No, go not down that path BMR, or you shall never finish your game!

As the prison guard was perhaps the first enemy sprite I made for Legacy, I thought it fitting that I'd revise the enemy graphics starting with him. http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/GuardSpear.png http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/Guardsman.png I'm not sure about the pose. Why would it be hidden? :???:

And don't know about others, but I usually use only one copy of Game in a central dir rather than using different ones provided by different games. I don't know if that made any sense, it's 1 in the morning and I should sleep, hehe.

Universal Wars I played this game before but I gave it another go to refresh my memory. The game has very simple graphics, but there is enough detail to know what most things are and where they are. The graphics aside, it has an interesting plot, with having to fight mad cows (which are infected wi...

A quick bit on the games I've played so far. Super Penguin Chef I really enjoyed this game. The humor worked very well, and it was whimsical enough to be fun, yet serious enough to be challenging. The variety of possible recipes is interesting, and the obsessive compulsive in me wants to figure out ...

Spittle moves closer to Akbar, standing just behind him and ready for anything.

@Spoonweaver Up until the first village and getting some information on the story. Probably another 10-15 minutes of game time. Hehe, watched your Let's Play, I'm going to have to agree on some of those points. My HotOHR bugfix release will probably switch from non-pausing-on-menu battles to pausing...

The HotOHR release of Legacy is here. It's still a demo, but it should be playable (if a bit buggy at times).
