Ah, yeah. The tag thing would also only work once per battle, so probably not a good idea in this case... If the hero's not using MP, maaaybe you can also use that as a counter for how many time that hero's gotten hit by the attack? Like, start him off with 100 MP, and have the attack lower it by 1...

Re: I'm looking for help
I am working on a game with O.H.R.RPG.C.E, and I have been drawing graphics and messing with the battle system. But recently I have lost motivation to continue, as I do not know how to do any plot scripting. I would like to learn to do scripting so I can continue working on my game. I think the bes...

Is it really smart to have that Gray Birchir in with the other fish? I'm no expert, but the Wikipedia article makes it sound like kind of a bad idea... Bichirs are predatory fish; in captivity they will take any live or dead animal that can be swallowed or broken apart and then swallowed. The only ...

Building on that idea, you could add brush to the forest. Then add a machete item that you can use to cut through those areas. You could even make getting the machete a small quest, that way you could block off certain parts of the forest until later in the game when you want the player to access th...

I learned today that termites are a real pain in the slime... :( But on a happier note, I learned that when making maps, it really is a good idea to draw a general outline of the map on paper first. Really helped with the redone maps Legacy. And on a non-game-making note, I learned that convict cich...

Option 1 could be softened by a group backdrop showing your party members in a group portrait style as if you were talking to them. This is what DQ 8 on the PS2 did. It would still probably be rougher on Immersion than the other methods though. That's not a bad idea, I'll give that a shot. What abo...
