Thanks for you answers and suggestions. :D I'll try dropbox, I think. I didn't consider that I need git to be online on a server or such... Well, you don't really need git to be online actually. I'm using git to keep track of Legacy and I don't have it online (though I prolly should) and it...

Mapping Update The crypts of the Temple of the Divines. While this area is technically late-game, I felt like making a nice crypt type map. Unlike previous maps, which were rather symmetrical in design, I tried to go in a different direction with this one. I wanted to make it feel as if areas were ...

That's actually a pretty good idea, I think I'll do something like that.

Hmm... Didn't Seiken Densetsu 3 have something like that but with wisps? Or am I thinking of a different game?

Yeah, I was a bit on the fence with the arrows thing. But I'm still trying to figure out a way to prevent players from getting lost without giving them access to the entire map.

Or perhaps I should just go old school and say, "You're lost in the dungeon? Well, tough luck for you then."

Well, all my previous map updates have been pieced together by hand =p Oh, if only there were some sort of easy way to select a menu item, "export entire map to bmp" or something, ho-hum. But alas. :v: Hehe, but nah, in all seriousness, it's not that difficult to piece it together. Doesn't...

Mapping Update The first map (plot-wise) is pretty much almost done. For those who played the HotOHR version of Legacy, this is the first map that the player wakes up in. It's been completely redesigned to be larger, more organized, and a bit more interesting. It's pretty much finished for now, jus...

IF is rather well and alive in certain parts of the Internet, but yeah, it's hardly as popular as it could/should be. I write IF using this which seems to be the most flexible and powerful of the interpreters/compilers out there. It would be neat to be able to put Inform games on my Kindle, but yeah...

You could use NPCs, but it would be very messy. And yeah, mari's right, slices would be a much better option. Unfortunately, my expertise goes far enough to know that slices are the way to go, but not far enough to be able to tell you how you should go about it. I'm sure one of the gurus here will h...

Yeah, I pretty much never use the built-in editor, so I'd be pretty terrible at doing a tutorial about it. I can do a write-up about it, but a video demonstration of the built-in editor at work would be great, if that's not a problem.

Wiki Log: May 23, 2013 0226h Summary: Got some graphics from James, woo! Added those in where I could fit them. Overall, not much actual text was done today, but I did some work on fixing up links and stuff. Not a very sizable update, but ah well, that's the way the cookie bounces. Specifics: Fixed...

Righto, I'll put removing "Chapter X" on my To Do list. Yeah, I'd also like to avoid using HTML, but I Wiki markup is, in my opinion, much messier to look at. And it isn't as easily understandable as HTML is. I like the templates though, and thanks for pointing that out, I might be making ...

Wiki Log: May 22, 2013 0047h Summary: Blast, but I haven't updated in a while. Was too caught up with some real-life paying work and didn't have much time to work on the wiki. But enough about real-life, on to more important things. I've started the chapter on artwork. I've also spruced up previous...

Heh, I don't even have any idea what those are. Crikey but I should work on battles instead of focusing on making maps all the time...

Based on what I've read in the F1 help though, "Soft" and "Hard" level caps sound good to me.
