So, I'm working on ships again. Here's an early WIP sans rigging, cannon, decorations, etc... http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/ship_wip_01_zps948680cf.png I redid my old ship (while using some of the old parts as placeholders, i.e. the long pokey thingy at the front. So sue me, I don't ...

Well, keeping track of what doors go where isn't really a problem. All of my indoor maps follow the same pattern: 1 ←→ 2 3 ←→ 4 5 ←→ 6 And so on and so forth. So if I come across door number 17, I automatically know that it links to door 18...

Heh, I suppose I'm the only one who doesn't use default passability at all then. I should prolly give it another shot considering pretty much everyone else uses it.

Jumping to doors

So, as many of you have seen, the maps I've been working on for Legacy do tend to get rather big. Each map tends to have no fewer than 40 doors. My question then is, is there a way to easily locate different doors? I can use the Link Doors option to see the general area of the different doors, but (...

How do you wall-map?

Just out of curiosity, how does everyone else do wall maps? Method 01 Do all the walls by hand, edge by edge http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/Legacy%20Devblog/wall_map_method01_zps79fb7225.png Method 02 Use the box tool to wall up everywhere the player can't go http://i1171.photobucket....

I'm not sure I understand the main characters hair. The blue bit looks like its jutting out from his/her face, and I'm not sure if the red part is a bandanna or not. Agreed. It looks rather strange. The overall character design is pretty nifty, and I like how you've done it. But I'm with Jack on th...

So I've got hundreds of floors and walls, but what good are those if you don't have anything to clutter them up with? I'm currently working on putting together various things to clutter up maps with, like tables, chairs, cabinets, etc... I'm also working on things to put on said tables, chairs, and ...

BMR's Art Resources

Been a while since I've said anything about this. But the last update was fairly heavy, so I thought I'd mention what I've done with it. The main updates are with the floor tiles, and the wall tiles. The previous update for floor tiles contained 50 different sets of floors. The current version has 2...

I for one would be interested in an 8-bit contest. But yeah, things have been relatively quiet recently.

If you want to copy changes between two git (or mercurial) repositories on different computers it would be easiest to set up a remote private git/mercurial repository for free on an external server like bitbucket.org. Then to copy changes from one computer to the other you commit all your changes (...

I did some testing with the script, and found that for some reason it never triggers with npc 2. But it triggers with npc 3. Strange.

Ah, there's the ticket. I forgot to add a set timer at the end of the LoS script.
