If you've got a spare monitor lying around, going dual-monitor is great for pretty much any graphics work. BMR's workspace: <img src="http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/gimp_dual_monit...

I've heard some good things about Paint.NET. I've never used it myself, so I have no idea how good it is for pixel stuff. I have heard that it's pretty much like MS Paint but on steroids. No idea how accurate that is though.

Meh, I like how it turned out originally, so I just have to redraw in the program. Wait, so what exactly is your workflow? And what are you using to draw your graphics? Fenrir and BMR drrw/distributed their tilesets with pink as the transparent colour, which was getting annoying Well, I'm sorry :v:...

I love his grass tutorial. Indeedy. I remember back when I was just starting with pixel stuff, I'd go over the grass section over and over again, trying to learn more from it. Even now, going back over his tutorial isn't a bad idea. Last time I went over it (after having learned some more) I learne...

It's alive! It's alive!! Rise, my undead creature! *insert maniacal laughter here* Heh =p On a more serious note, one of the best (imo) pixel tutorials out there to get you started is Tsugumo's. It's definitely not the be-all end-all, a...
