"Crap on a biscuit, that's not good..." Kalar sees Lynda racing towards the rest of the group and wonders whether it would be better to stay put, or try to recover Silas' body so that he can revive him. He also wonders if healing spells would even work, considering that Silas seems to be ...

Kalar notices the three zombies heading for Galse and Thistlewhistle. He's reluctant to divide his attention, but right now they're the most immediately dangerous of the various threats in the area, so he decides to revise his tactics. He holds out his holy symbol and channels divine energy through...

"Galse is right, fighting retreat, lads! Back to the statue room and the entrance near the loft, we can fight better there!" Kalar focuses his will and mentally commands both zombies to advance and screen the party, preventing anything from coming their way. While they do that, Kalar will...

Not realizing that Lynda has gone, Kalar calls out, "Lynda, would you be so kind as to use your inexplicable ability to vaporize things with your touch on these bars? I want to get these zombies out of there so they can be of some use." While waiting for Lynda, Kalar keeps at the cell, tr...

While Kalar's irritated that he forgot about the statues (he blames himself) he feels that it's worth it seeing as how he got a new shield and two zombie minions out of it. Kalar turns to Thistlewhistle and says, "Here, you can use my old shield. You don't have any armor, and you've only got t...

Kalar reacts as quickly as he can, and presents his holy symbol to the zombies. He channels negative energy into the symbol, and rebukes the zombies, hoping to subdue one enough to bring it under his control.

Disappointed that there's nothing there, Kalar slides his war pick back into the loop on his belt. He runs back down the walls, quite miffed that there wasn't anything of importance. He recovers his gear and equips it all again. He then readies his shield, and heads for the door that Lynda opened, ...

"That is quite deep, it would seem... Probably not a good idea to head down there just yet." He hears the screaming, and wonders what is causing it. Perhaps it would be a good idea to help whoever's doing the screaming, never a bad thing to have someone in your debt. "Gnome, here, us...

"Well look at that..." Kalar takes some of the linen he took from the room back near the hall of mirrors and soaks it in some of the lantern oil he has in his pack. He then wraps it tightly around one end of the javelin that Thistlewhistle broke, forming a crude torch. He steps to the edg...

Kalar considers the religious figure on the altar. As it's a figure dedicated to a lord of the hells, it's probably very dangerous. On the other hand, devils can be negotiated with... "Lynda, be a dear please and take that figure on top of the altar. I know it's potentially related to a danger...

Jubilex... Kalar tries to remember what he knows about that deity. He's fairly certain that he's never had encounters with any members of a religion that worshiped that particular deity. All he's sure of is that Jubilex, the Faceless Lord, is hardly a pleasant deity. Then, an idea. Kalar begins mut...

Well... That certainly lowers Silas' value as an asset... Kalar wonders if it's worth the effort now to keep him alive. Then again, if he does, then Silas might feel indebted to him. Probably not, but it's worth considering. Always think of the long-term. At least now he knows that the room is pote...
