Kalar nods at Lynda. "A wise choice, my dear." He turns to Tammytharn and says, "Does this convince you that I have had nothing to do with what has happened to her? Or perhaps this would be more to your liking." He takes his war pick from the loop in his belt and hands it to Lyn...

Kalar gestures calmly to Lynda, "See what I'm talking about? If you recall, I said nothing about demons. I spoke of ghosts." Kalar ponders this a moment. "If it's making Lynda claim that there are no demons, then perhaps what's affected us are not ghosts, but indeed demons of some so...

Kalar smirks at Tammytharn. "My dear, if I had wanted to do something, I most certainly would have. But I do not want to, and I have not. I gave my word to help everyone here. I am unsure about your traditions about upholding one's honor, but where I come from, when you give your word, you kee...

"Crap on an unholy blue biscuit!" It's not quite dignified, but Kalar drops to the ground and rolls, hoping to smother the fire in the water he created previously. With gallons of it still around, any normal fire would be extinguished easily. The problem going through Kalar's mind at the ...

Kalar frowns, concerned that his scout seems to be unable to speak. And a scout unable to report back on scouting missions... Well, she's been useful so far, and she can still prove useful in the future. Besides, if he finds a way to help her, then that's another person in his debt, something which...

"Lynda? Speak up, woman, what happened to you?"

Kalar assumes that nothing happened to her, as all prior information confirms Silas' hypothesis about immunity to magic.

Trying not to panic, Kalar holds up his holy symbol and creates water around himself to douse the flames, hoping that the few gallons created will be enough. Once the flames are out, he'll cure himself of moderate wounds and then ask Lynda if she's hurt.

Kalar gets ready and holds his tower shield at ready. He orders Dave to keep watch for any hostiles. Without anything else to do, Kalar starts along the tiles (GOHEN) and directs Lynda to take the opposite wall (NEHOG), hoping that he's correct about there being no traps. Or at the very least, that...

Kalar orders Dave to stay put, and then runs back along the walls to the group. He retrieves his tower shield and backpack from Lynda and says, "Right, there are four cells back that way. Two people all in all, one's a painter of some sort. The other is a large fellow with a bull's head."...

Kalar looks around, checking his surroundings. He sends Dave on ahead to light the way. He has no intention of following the skeleton, but he does want to know what lies further down the passageway before returning to the main room.

Kalar watches this with amusement. "Tammy, my dear, he is 3'5" and he was in the same room as us when I was knocked out by that black cloud. I have a very hard time believing that you managed to overlook him the way you claim you did. The truth is, my dear, you were far too focused on you...

Kalar smirks at this. He chuckles and then says, "My dear, I find it strange that you are so concerned about 'respecting' those who are long dead. I'm doing all I can with all the tools I have to keep us all alive. But you, with all your talk of disrespecting the souls of those objects don't s...

Kalar listens to Tammytharn's rant and groans inwardly. Another one of those people. He orders Dave forward along the middle path, hoping that it will trigger whatever traps are there so that they can see them. While Dave is doing that, he turns to Tammy and talks to her: "Listen... Tammytharn...

Satisfied with the work of the skeleton, Kalar takes his backpack back from Ardan II. He orders Dave to follow him, while the other two stand guard in case anything comes in from the other door. Kalar follows Lynda, ready for anything, particularly another trap. He takes a look at the three doors, ...
