I actually never thought of doing a day/night cycle like that. Seems like it would be a really neat way of doing things. I can see it working really well from a narrative standpoint. As for gameplay, I don't think it would really disrupt things. I guess you could think of the different day/night par...

So, inspired by Valigarmander, I decided to go back and do some re-pixeling as well. This one is from around June 2012, if my file's timestamps are correct. http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/Pixel%20Art/Sprites/driderold_zpsbc0d182c.png Some weird drider dude with spider mandibles. No id...

Kalar feels the other ghoul die and screams with rage. It lacks any power though, as he's already exhausted that ability. The ghouls were loyal! They were his minions! They belonged to him ! And this blasted slime ate them! Kalar completely loses it and all restraints he had on his emotions fly awa...

Kalar is barely able to move. This is certainly not turning out how he expected. He had initially thought that the number of minions at his disposal would have been enough. He was sadly mistaken though. With little else to do, he reaches out with his mental powers to order his ghouls (if they still...

Right, Kalar's had just about enough of this. And there's not a chance in any of the hells that he plans on losing John and Kretivuslar to a filthy worm. He doesn't like getting into combat up close and personal if he can't help it, but blast it, those were his minions, and they'd served him well u...

I can't really see myself ever wearing a button unless we have a meetup and I need to impress my geekiness, while on the other hand everyone has a fridge, so magnets would get used. My fridge actually doesn't have a single magnetic surface on it. No joke. I used to have one like that when I was a k...

I'd say that the angling of the tiles looks fine, I think the math mostly works. I would, however, suggest adding a bit of shading. Right now, it looks a bit flat, and somewhat strange because all the tiles look the same apart from their orientation. I did a quick mock-up to show you what I mean: ht...
