Kalar thinks for a while, then says, "No, I believe not. But I don't trust them. I have the feeling they'll turn on us the first chance they get. What concerns me though, is if their bloodlust was something they had prior, or if being werewolves did that to them. If the latter, then I am conce...

"Very well then." Kalar notes their response. That's very, very interesting to know. "Let us be off then, unless my comrades have further questions? If not, I suggest you three lead the way. We are not quite as accustomed or familiar with these parts as you three seem to be." Ka...

"Indeed we are. And yes, I do have a 'servant' as you call him, but I prefer to think of Hrulgin as more of a colleague in this endeavor." Kalar is rather suspicious. He doubts if these three will actually follow orders. Still, some information will be useful. "Tell me, how was your ...

"We would have to respectfully decline the offer. As much, perhaps, good being a werewolf might be, it would hinder our purposes for now, and is thus not in our best interests." Kalar makes sure his tower shield is ready, just in case. "Now I find myself needing to ask, if they had a...

Kalar moves closer, silently signaling to the others. He looks at the newcomers, and then back at the bloody scene, trying to make it clear without speaking that he knows they are the ones responsible.

Kalar overhears this from afar, and says to Hrulgin. "Did you hear that? Best be ready for an attack. If they do, try to paralyze one of them, or perhaps hit them with your poisoned darts. I want at least one of them alive for questioning."

"There," Kalar points, "Up ahead." Kalar considers this for a moment and says, "I do believe I have made a mistake traveling the road this way. Henceforth, Hrulgin and I shall stay within the woods, shadowing you. I will alert you should I detect anything hostile." Kal...

"Up ahead, there were some people, I believe they saw us and ducked into the forest. I am unsure if they are the ones who did this though."

"I have no idea if this is something they would do, but it would seem to me that it is not."

Kalar sniffs around.

"If you want to find those who did this, I believe I will be able to track them down."

With nothing to do, Kalar manifests the jeweled dagger in his hand. He goes and finds a few appropriately sized branches of adequate wight and begins sharpening them into javelins. They'll be crude, but they should serve well enough.

Away from the rest of the party, Kalar looks around the woods, trying to see if there is anything of interest. He tries to sniff around, seeing (or smelling, rather) if there are any animals or perhaps people around.

Kalar sits around, awaiting word from the rest of the party. He decides to not head back to the inn for now, as it might cause some difficulties, especially seeing how the others in the inn reacted. "So, Hrulgin. How are you? Do you know anything about this place at all? And don't worry, as so...

"Woof."

And with that, Kalar the Dog pads out of the inn and heads back to where Hrulgin is. He'd rather not spend the night at the inn, especially if they don't know if the moon will be full. Once there, he'll attempt to turn back to his hybrid form and then rearm himself.

Well... that could have gone better... Should have been expected, seeing as how Kalar has no experience whatsoever in being adorable and cute. Not wanting to push his luck any further, Kalar moves to a corner in the inn and pretends to sleep. He does, however, keep an ear out for anything of intere...
