Once well out of sight of the others, Kalar decides to test Lynda's ring. He ensures it's on his finger, and then runs up a tree. Once he reaches around 10 feet up, he'll jump off the tree, hoping that the ring will activate and allow him to float gently down.

"Indeed. Have Tammy contact me in an hour to see how things are going. If I need to signal you, I'll cast a light spell on the largest thing I can, and take it up into the air with Bill, so keep an eye skywards just in case." With that, Kalar mounts Bill, and heads off to rendezvous with ...

Kalar takes the ring and then says:

"Yes, that would be wise. The more we know what you're able to do, the better. At the very least, it will help with planning our strategy."

Kalar looks around for Hrulgin. He says to the others: "Why don't the rest of you head on into the city. I'll stay out here with the skeletons and with Bill, keeping a look out for Hrulgin." He then turns to Lynda and says: "My dear, I believe you had a ring of some sort that was mar...

Kalar takes the tome and says: "Very well then. We will at least see you to Galse's inn after this business with the colossus is finished. That way you will not need to hire a carriage. Besides, it will be good to speak with Galse, to see what he knows and what new developments have arisen. &q...

"In my experience, ignorance of a subject has never been the safest trait to have when dealing with said subject. But as it is yours to give, I will abide by your choice, ill-advised as I may see it. But again, the choice is yours."

"I see. I had hoped you would accompany us, as another cleric would have been useful considering all that is happening. I will not fault you your decision though, as it is yours to make. We will at least escort you to Galse once this business with the colossus is finished." Kalar pauses a...

"Right, so by my estimate, we should only be a few hours away from the city. What is our course of action? I can fly ahead on Bill to scout the area and get some idea of where the colossus is before rendezvousing at the city. Alternatively, we could all stick together to look for the colossus ...

Cloak of Entrances Three times per day, whenever the wearer of this cloak enters a room, mist will ominously billow about him and into the room. This mist is not enough to obscure anything, but it makes the wearer look that much more mysterious and intimidating providing a +5 to intimidate checks p...

"Very well, we'll leave you to it."

Kalar orders his skeletons to haul the cart on board. Once everyone is settled in, he then commands them to start rowing as quickly as they can, so as to make up for lost time. He then settles in to work on his glove.

"There might be enough room on the boat for the cart, but it will be rather cramped what with the rest of us, the skeletons, and Bill. If Tammytharn can guarantee they won't run off, we might be able to let them out of the cage. Personally, I believe it might be better for them to remain in th...

Kalar nods. Once they get to the river, he activates the feather token he created and casts it into the river, creating a swan boat. Once everyone is aboard, he will order his skeletons to start rowing upstream as quickly as they can. For now, Bill will ride in the boat with them. Kalar will take i...

"Let's head for the river. I've got a boat ready that we can use, but we'll have to get off before the 24 hour mark as this boat will only last that long. We'll all be able to spend the day resting, I'll have my skeletons row the boat upstream. We should be back at the city in a day and a half...

"Hmm, very well then. Cover me. And keep an eye out for any more of those wraiths." Kalar enters the small hole, keeping his holy symbol ready. He looks around the room, trying to see if there's anything of interest there. He also takes his wand of detect magic out again and gives the ent...
