Seeing as though the humanoids are unresponsive, Ardan decides to slowly edge in to the room, just to see if he can provoke a reaction.

Corpses. Corpses sitting on the edge of the bed. The bedroom seems like it could be hiding something of value, but the problem is the corpses that have sat to face them. Frozen in place, for fear that making a move may provoke whatever these things were, Ardan decided to use his words for a change....

Seeing as nothing much else is happening, Ardan decides to go back out to the mirror hall. He notices that Kalar has opened a door, and decides to go join him to see what's new with him and the room.

Seeing Kalar fail miserably to restrain the panicking man, Ardan tries to restrain him, and haul him out of the mirror room.

Huzzah! Ardan has finally claimed his reward!

He promptly pockets all his findings.

Great, the spider retreated...left behind it's arm though. Ardan has plans for that later...when it stops twitching, though.

He prepares his weapon and says "Get ready! They're not done yet!"

Spider arm! Eech!

"Look out!" Arden says, raising his halberd, and then bringing it down onto the thrashing arm in an attempt to sever it.

Give up the spike shield? Sure, why not.

"Alright, you can have the shield back. You're probably gonna need it more than what I do."
