I'm also impressed with the new graphics. It's all looking great.
BTW, I'm not dead. Let me know if you need that scripting finished for a release.

I'm an awful person, because I chose my list weeks ago but didn't post it as I wanted to write more comments. Oh well just read what JSH said; I'm in surprisingly close agreement with his opinions. 1. Sword of Jade The re-release with sound effects and new music should be great. 2. Adventures of Pow...

Not arcs, not parabolas, no, Bezier curves! Haha. Actually, drawing ellipses is more complicated than it seems. To calculate a parabolic projectile path correctly you need to work in 3D space. I wonder whether it wouldn't be better to have the projectile move a bit faster (to speed up combat) and I'...

Yes, it can. But the OHR doesn't even have sane internal APIs for loading all data formats. Some stuff is still stored in int arrays instead of structs. It's just not designed to expose that, with all kinds of messy static caches and lots of dependencies. A much better possibility would be to use Jo...

Oh, actually raising the NPC limit isn't as straightforward as I thought, as evidenced by the second script that James posted. I wrote some thoughts about that on the wiki. Anyway, to provide an alternative answer to Willy's question, which was aimed at the map editor, I think the easiest way to acc...

Haha. RELOAD is a building block that much of the rest of the engine builds upon; implementing it is required for a lot of other things. But a GUI tool for viewing RELOAD files could be quite useful in its own right, and end users could realistically use it as well (though I can't think of many uses...

Would you consider allowing people to vote for more than 15 games? I started putting together a list and got to 30 easily. The problem is that you might not have a large overlap between different people's lists if they are too short (eg only 1 or 2 people voting for the game in 15th place). On that ...
