Meow has a nice setup at his house. Enchanting table (no bookshelves), farms, cows and nether portal. Just follow the skybridge. Which I think might not be going in the right direction. Origin is at 180,260. The server appears to be set to an extremely easy setting. There are virtually no enemies; i...

Backdrops need to be exactly 320x200. Ideally you would save it as an 8-bit bmp using the same palette as your master palette. If it contains colours other than the 256 master palette colours you will get far far better results if you convert to your master palette using an external program. You can...

I've reset the server and it is now non-hardcore (but is still on the hardest difficulty). I figured it would be a nice change of pace for the time being. A nice change, until we're all banned? Not sure how to make that happen on a multiplayer map. How would I do that? I found this: http://minecraf...

Having actually just tried it, I now realise that the hero sprites are immediately reverted as soon as you move a hero from one slot to another, which looks very bad. So you might want to change the heroes back to regular walkabout sprites (if you have any!) before entering Order/Team. Alternatively...

That's right. You can actually set an on-close script for a menu (the main menu); it's at the bottom of the toplevel menu. But that isn't going to fix the situation where the player uses Order/Team and then either goes back into Order/Team, or uses the default Quit screen. So it would be preferable ...

I built two chicken pits, then did a bit of exploring (also went hunting endermen) and discovered a large village really close to my house. I must have walked within sight of it a number of times. Argh, all that food would have been nice earlier. To get there go behind the lookout to the front entra...

For anyone else wondering, camera follows slice is an nightly command. I used exactly the same trick to have the hero not in the centre of the screen in Carcere Vicis. Also, when converting between the coordinates of the top left of the screen and the hero coordinates you should add (150, 90) rather...

Thanks. There aren't any messages related to that lag, but I investigated a number of other interesting messages (none of which were significant problems). I often see unexpected things when looking at somebody else's debug log. I added some timing to help pin down unexpected lags such as this one, ...

Spriteset 0? So by creating and erasing the sprite you mean drawing something and blanking it out again. Does the problem reoccur if you scribble something in that frame? I expect that this problem is not caused by Attack A of spriteset 0, but its involvement is a coincidence. Could you send us c_de...

So many harpies and winged things... That textbox large portrait is really nice. In several of those frames the heroes' arms appear quite thin (or have 'bottlenecks' in places), thinner than in the other frames. I think that's the biggest problem with those sprites. After that I would change the sha...

Every hero gains experience individually. (By default heroes that are swapped out, ie in the reserve party, don't gain any from battles, but that's optional.) They keep their equipment and all stats and experience when swapped out. That article fails to mention that there is a built in menu, the Tea...
