Yes, first edition is best!

I'm starting to get pretty confused though, how many versions are there actually? The Barnes and Noble one states it is a Createspace product, but you said it was via Amazon.

Neato. I probably only have to wait 3 more weeks for my copy :) I think I actually prefer having a version without white margins around the page edges, even if the page numbers are slightly cut off.

Wow, you sure uploaded the book to a lot of retailers.

Oh. Yeah, that's not clear at all. "Export .ZIP" packages a stand-alone game for Windows. Creating an installer for Windows unfortunately requires Windows because the installer creator we use is Windows-only.

Wow, looks fantastic! I'm sure you'lll get any more help you need if you ask for it. This thread has a number of suggestions for promoting your game: http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5871 One thing to note is that on Mac you'll only be able to distribute a Mac version and a Linux Vers...

I've come to the opinion that global variables would be better than tags for organising many forms of plot progression and dialog trees. That sort of thing currently requires using a whole sequence of tags, and even if you could define tag groups (which would be a great feature), tracking it with nu...

Nice. Any writeup, character dump, etc?

Also, this was a great thread and it would be wonderful if it were revived, or something similar started.

Looks nice! OK, I had a look and fixed some things. Firstly, that pause when you use a door is due to "autosave", which actually brings up the save menu if the game hasn't been saved yet, which you can't see because the screen is faded out. Several different solutions. One is to get the pl...

Neat! Are the "overlays" also done with backdrops? How many layers of backdrops do you have in total? (I thought that there was going to be parallax?) I can't remember whether I've already made this suggestion, but I suggest increasing the horizontal speed of the heroes as they jump across...

I just tried out your demo. It looks like it's going to be pretty nice! For some reason I thought that this was only going to be a minigame. You forgot to include the scripts in the zip. It's possible to extract the scripts from the .rpg file though; I'll have a look into some of the glitchy behavio...

To upload a game, go to the www.slimesalad.com/forum/gamelist.php and click create "New Topic". Games are actually threads in that forum. Add one or more archives as attachments, and optionally screenshots. The problem with that script snippet is that "npc reference" shouldn't be...

Probably because Amazon is in the business of being unprofitable.

Why is there also a discount on the Amazon price?

If "Display backlighting" appears twice it must be a bug; you can't have two of those. But I'm assuming that the 15-16W total that you stated is that information from the battery (ie, it's reliable) rather than a sum of estimates, so that doesn't explain it.

Just needs some shots of the final product!

I imagine it'll be quite a while until I receive mine.
