Oh, using the slice collection editor is definitely the way to go most of the time, didn't mean to imply otherwise. Even if I write a bunch of slice commands to manually create and edit slices, it's likely that I'll test it out in the slice editor first to check the positions and anchors and so on a...

The tile cutter works by moving the position of the mouse cursor, and there's currently a rounding error in gfx_directx (caused by the graphics scaling) which can place the cursor one pixel off from where's intended. You might have encountered that. I just made some UI improvements to the cutter tha...

I feel that the Slices Tutorial on the wiki is halfway between a tutorial and a manual explaining the different slice types and slice concepts like anchors, and really needs pictures and more follow-along examples. And the examples in the Plotscripting Dictionary certainly aren't meant to be a tutor...

So, first of all, check that the script is actually running. If you press F10 twice you'll enter the script debugger, and should see the displaymouse script listed. Also, check there isn't any other script listed above displaymouse (with the exception of an on-keypress script which doesn't contain a...

(James has just forgotten that we discussed and realised battles could be excluded) I think you'll be the first RPG to increase the framerate. Doesn't that make all the walking frame animations a bit fast? Did you remember to adjust tile animation speeds? Also, what framerate are you using, 30? If i...

You didn't mention that it's free! And only 20 pages, as a pdf; pretty dang short! I should get through this soon. Do you have any other written fiction released (maybe as supplementary material)? I'm not sure the stuff you wrote in your 'About the author' section is a good way to sell yourself. Sur...

Sorry for the confusion; if you're using Beelzebufo and you want to package using Beelzebufo there's no need to be worried about anything (until Callipygous is released anyway); it'll package it with Beelzebufo. But I JUST noticed the title of this thread and realised that you actually want to packa...

Another duplicate: spinoff and spin-off.
I think all the three-game tags have been push out of view as well now.

Sorry, I was wrong. Turned out this issue was fixed two years ago, but the presence of a two-years-out-of-date file in the downloads directory confused me. (That file is only used by Alectormancy) BTW, just a warning (which we should put somewhere appropriate): if you use some old stable release of ...
