Yes, when Rinku uploaded the fixed copy of Magnus to CP he said that he had to add the master palette lump to get it to work. So the corruption was that it somehow disappeared from the .rpg file. It seems to be quite common that really old games have garbage data in previously-unused areas of variou...

HamsterSpeak is a very simple and limited language. Once upon a time it was documented at HamsterSpeak Specification , and that article is a good thing to read if you want to understand (just a few) more details, but you can easily ignore it. (The Specification is out of date and doesn't document he...

And you can store metadata about frequency and which formation set to trigger in the zone extra data. In fact I was planning to event...

But are you using OSX? The OSX port runs at 3x zoom in fullscreen because OSX did not like low resolutions like 640x400. So I wonder what happens when you set some custom resolution, whether large or small or non-standard, and then fullscreen. I actually have a Mac at uni but I haven't tried running...

I don't really know the answer to that; I wish I did. Are 640x480 or 800x600 a good idea, or are they going to be a problem if the monitor isn't large enough to run at 2x zoom in a window? I've used 480x320 as a compromise for this reason. 320x240 should be a very safe resolution; it's more standard...
