Heh, but I meant that you gave the background but not the plot for the actual protagonists. You did say the game had an emphasis on story, though I suppose usually even for story-heavy RPGs, most of the time still ends up being consumed by battles and party/inventory management. I didn't notice that...

Spaces can very useful... I've strangely never used them, but I use the equivalent feature in KDE (Linux/X11) very heavily.

But yes, mapping Ctrl+left/right was annoying. Aside from that the shortcut I found most annoying on Mac was Ctrl+F5 (or was it Shift+F5?) to turn on the speech synthesizer!

Yikes!

Yes, we're happy to help.

Having another look at that other thread I just realised that they had the problem on exactly the same screen as you (and were using the same version). That would seem there is a real problem there!

(Just saw your second post) Wait, that looks like the screen that shows all the windows you have open belonging to a certain application, or all the applications open. That is certainly not meant to happen - if OS X's window manager reacts in any way, that means it intercepted the key press. I don't...

Yes, that is the screen on which you should be able to copy tiles. It should be as simple as pressing C while Ctrl is down, then selecting any other tile and pressing Ctrl+V. I suppose it could be possible that it only affects Custom, or only that one screen. Try typing some text into a line of a te...

Hello! It might be the case that OSX is intercepting Ctrl-C (and if it does that, then Ctrl+V/T will have no effect), or it might be a problem with Ctrl in general. You could try downloading inputtest.rpg to confirm which key combinations are or aren't working. Could you check whether combinations w...

It appears that it couldn't find the LICENSE-binary.txt file. It expects it to be in the same directory as the ohrrpgce-custom executable. I realise this is a poor assumption; you might install the binaries in /usr/local/bin for example. Is that what you've done? The error checked here wasn't very g...

So when you wrote "the world they knew" you meant... well, really just the local region I suppose. I misunderstood it as the whole world at first. So... not giving any details about the game itself, instead of the background to the story? How many colours are there actually in the palette ...

Hmm, it's not working for me on Linux either. Thanks for catching this; the problem must have been introduced a couple weeks ago. Looking into it.

EDIT: Fixed. Please wait for the next nightly build to include the fix (r7620). AFAIK the linux nightlies are only built once a day.

Welcome! I notice that we have quite a disproportional number of Mac users. Haha, Essex and Kent. Did the Saanz inherit place names and other things from the humans? That concept art looks really interesting. You gave the background to the plot, but the concept art is the only hint about the actual ...
