Wow, that's a great, unique boss. What's he holding? If I imagine a crystal ball in his hand, it reads perfectly. Without that sort of guide it did take me a couple seconds to realise that his hand is palm-up. Regarding dithering/shading, I think the only thing that needs any work is the shape of hi...

Yes, it's only things that are at the same Y coordinate as each other than have uncertain ordering. Unfortunately this sort of thing can't be done with map layers, and the solution is to use slices (or NPCs since they're drawn with slices), so I think the ability to place slices on the map ought to ...

Interesting idea; I hadn't thought of that. Crossfade and diagonal swipe are two other dissolve animations that would be good. A very similar effect is to us a fuzzy rect and the "set rect fuzziness" command. Actually, both "teleport to map" and "use door" cause a one t...

guo: Looks nice, I think it's a good improvement. It seems you're going for the style of exaggerating the degree to which the arms appear bigger as they get closer; not complaining, but I think you have to see it in animation to judge how well it works. Foxley & Pheonix: Very well drawn. Interes...

Thanks! That confirms that the problem is that it couldn't delete one of the audio files. There's a long-standing problem on Windows that sometimes that an audio file is still opened for playing for some unknown reason when Custom quits (we do attempt to close them properly...), and Windows keeps th...

Oops, that would be a bug. Here's how you can get rid of that message and help me figure out what caused the problem. -First, make sure no copy of Custom is running. -Go to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\OHRRPGCE (the AppData folder is hidden, so you would need to turn on the setting to show hi...

Just changing the question on the registration form whenever the bots start appearing works surprisingly well. I see that the question is no longer about salad ingredients, so assume Mogri just changed it. It'll probably be good for another year.

Oh, thanks. I forgot to say anything here; I tested for myself and found that it doesn't work on OS 10.8.5 either. So it doesn't work on any Macs, except for those that had a previous version of the OHR installed, due to an implementation detail. We're planning to release a Callipygous+1 bugfix rele...

Wait a minute, that's two completely different errors. Foxley, you don't even see the hspeak window pop up? Could you please post your c_debug.txt file after trying to compile? The .deb package is 32 bit, so it's theoretically possible that hspeak fails to run on a 64 bit Mint, although if Custom ru...

The .deb package should put plotscr.hsd in /usr/share/games/ohrrpgce/. However it looks like hspeak doesn't actually know that we wanted it check this location. Hmm! I never noticed, because I never tried installing the .deb file on a machine. To work around the problem, you can just copy plotscr.hs...

Oh, yes, I was meaning to change those caps. They're an artificial nuisance. We can cap the number of hits that an attack can perform instead of capping the stat. I didn't notice that the Hits cap is inconsistent.

Today I conversed with a man with dextroduction peddling texts on Indian spirituality. Is this a sign? Funny, I googled Dzoldzaya and looking through the results on page four it suddenly says: "Showing results for Dziadzia No results found for Dzoldzaya" It's definitely an incredibly rare ...
