Oh, interesting... I haven't read through the rules though, as the 17 page rulebook dissuades a casual browsing. Tabletop Simulator? Oh, it's a commercial program. And fairly expensive. Is there any way to play this card game online without spending money? If so, I might try it. I had assumed there ...

Goes like this: see that list of slices in the collection I gave you; where there's a separate container slice for each stat, which has two child text slices? Well you would delete all but one, and use that one as a template. The script duplicates the template repeatedly, filling in the stat name an...

You probably want to make each column a different text slice, so that the columns line up nicely regardless of the number of digits. Or alternatively you could write a script to add each stat to the map using a for loop and the 'clone slice' command. That's the way I would do it, to avoid having lot...

Could you please upload the slice collection for the default status menu? http://tmc.castleparadox.com/ohr/statusmenu.slice Import it into the slice collection editor by pressing F3. Note that it contains lots of special embed codes like ${HERONAME}, none of which will work outside of the builtin s...

Uh oh. I checked, and the x86_64 linux tarball does include hspeak... but it's compiled for x86, not x86_64! It was compiled with the wrong build of Euphoria. I could upload an x86_64 build of hspeak as a temporary fix. (Edit: you can get it here and just replace the existing hspeak file with it.) C...

Isn't it possible to alter the layout of the status scene by script? ... And is it possible to special screens open at the same time as menus? Nope, and nope. All of the built-in menus pause the rest of the engine, just like battles. For selecting which hero to alter stats (if you want to do it one...

I've still got all the files for Eldardeen, including design docs, chat logs, and svn change history. Seems we worked on it in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, but mostly just 2006-7. I have a vague feeling that there was some work you were doing which you might have lost in a harddisk crash before sendin...

Why would there be a difference between looping mp3s vs wavs? I guess there could be bugs in whatever playback (or encoding) program you're using. I know that SDL_mixer (which the OHR uses) used to handle looping music very badly. Hmm, maybe mp3 has some kind of minimum block size, rather than allow...

I really like it - a little wanderlust, a lot of nostalgia and serenity. Maybe I'm imagining it, as it's been years since I actually played it, but I think some parts remind me of some of the music from FTL. Or something else. It literally ends on a high note, which seems to be typical of your piece...
