Thanks
Thanks everyone, you are kinder than my son. Still he helped me clean things up and I did remove the Define scripts and caught the missing ends. Still though I'm having a problem that you might be able to clear up. We want the mage Androve to disappear when the initial dialog is finished. The player...

scripting troubles again.
After J_Taylor decided to settled down south we gave up scripting any game at least till this one. Now we forgot much of what we knew. So here the mess. In time we want to add between each "advance text box" scripts but left these out just to see if it would work and it doesn't. So what mi...

A question about "The One Dungeon" Contest
We like to make a game for this but wonder if our idea would work. We are thinking of a kid trying to gain admission into a school of magic but to qualify they must enter a special dungeon under the school full of tests that will prove if the student is worth accepting. Magic is within that dungeon....

The other member of puzzle's story
Grandmother's Old Dressser In the back of the basement, in a dusty old corner, lies my Grandmother’s old dresser. I know it as well as I know the neighborhood, down to Mr. Gregory at the old store, who’ll give you a discount if you tell him a good tale. Down to Jake Kyleson, the boy next door I’ll s...

PR: Puzzle, the story reads like a treatment for a greater work. Are you stretching this out to a novella or a full-fledged novel? It's difficult to keep track of all the players prior to the storm at sea, so it might be nice to see this built up to something bigger, yet well-paced. I get the sense ...

Here is one of our stories
Puzzle is actually two of us and this is a story from one of us. Hope you like it. The Saint and The Angry Sea This story is drawn from From Slavery to Salvation- Stories Based on The Life of St. Nicholas of Myra. St. Nicholas lived in the 3rd century so these tales are based upon a true story; howe...

We would have to work out hoe to build this game while not falling behind in out development of The Dragon of Ard Geama . Then again we playing around with a idea for our game that probably should get tested out first in another game. Its giving choices and once a choice is made the game player move...

We tend to plan out much of the game at least until a skeleton is in place. Then one of us draws the NPCs while the other puts in place holder graphics and starts replacing these with layers of more advanced graphics. Scripting usually comes during this time and any movies we plan to use. Fighting s...

ncw64: I just wanted to know if anyone would be willing to give me some advice on any graphics (which I will post later if I can figure out how) or anything. Go to http://photobucket.com/ and get an account and save you screen shots as PING. The site user friendly and if we can figure it out anyone ...

Hi Jaguar and welcome, We like the detailed tile map but understanding simplifying a map when a story too complex. Still, perhaps you could keep it for another game, it a shame to put so much work into it and then let it go. We also like your walk about and about that... @ Jaguar: but used both FF1 ...

Crash problem
The system that held the most updated form of Cait and the dragon crashed. We thought the other half had a version because she was working on the walkabouts but apparently she didn't. She wants to kill the project but I'm not willing to. We have the pictures we posted here so we can use those to rec...

TMC, You have some good ideas which we probably should have thought to do ourselves. It is likely we have that position wrong which would explain why the script is not working: however, right now we've stopped working on the game to put together a music book for our church. Sorting music that is in ...
