Hey, those are great! Kudos!

Yeah, the tutorials need updating (of course, anyone can do it, its a wiki)

I played this for the first time just now. I died about 6 or 7 times before I gave up (spike trap shortly after being beaten by a green goblin but not killed.) It did feel fun, but the further I got the less I could stand starting over. My big suggestion is to save your progress at certain way-point...

It uses features I added this afternoon, and I didn't force a manual rebuild of the nightlies.

The cool part, in my opinion, is how fast I was able to make it :) I didn't time myself, but it was hours, not days. I love slices!

Space InvadeOHRs

A demonstration of plotscripting a mini-game using slices. Check out the source code!

(Graphics shamelessly ripped from Vikings of Midgard.)

The first one is really cool!

Just add a few tiles for "racing rocks"

Hmmm. Interesting. Menus do not directly play genAcceptSFX when you choose an item. Most of the special screens that you can select from a menu, such as the Item screen, the Status, screen, the spell screen, etc all play genAcceptSFX themselves. It looks to me like there is no sound effect in the fo...

We really need this as a built-in feature.

I usually take a screen-shot of the sprite editor, cut out the palette area, and then re-size it using a non-smoothing resize, which drops out the black lines without blurring the colors

I have uploaded a new version that is divided into completable levels with different difficulty ratings. Each has it's own text. I think this is ready for another round of review. I would really like to get some feedback on the scoring system, since I don't want to attempt to implement any kind of h...

Awesome. Very ambitios to be doing weapon sprites like that. It makes me wish for a built in overlay feature. Because I don't know if I would have your patience :)

The colors look fine to my eyes.

I appended a short sonnet by Neruda that that contains a Z, so that one is no longer a blocker. I have uploaded a new version with a modified scoring system. The penalty for a long gap is lowered, but there is now a penalty for missing letters that would have worked. I also added visualization of ho...

the pictures are thumbnails pulled from picsearch.com. I'm triying to keep the search engine bandwidth to a bare minimum

I'll probably do some work to make it easy to add music, but I don't know if I want to include any more since the distribution file is already bigger than I want it to be

I don't suppose there's any way to win or lose in this game yet, is there? I am working on a mode where you search for a set number of words, and after you have found all of them it will show you your score, your time, and your average points-per-minute. I noticed quite a few notepad files in the z...
