Backwards compatability with Sword of Jade is very important to me. It does indeed run on the nightly builds.

Vista, included .exe Was gonna download a new nightly to bypass all the moneygrinding I'd lost, but my internet broke until about half an hour ago. The first time it crashed at the end of a battle about a third of the way into Gallopeg. The second time I was leaving the Ixnekolan peninsula, maybe a...

Okay! I fixed the bug. it had nothing to do with music, and was unrelated to the vista crash. Anybody using the included wander.exe or any relatively recently nightly would have crashed at the exact same places in the intro. I have fixed it, and uploaded a new copy, so if Momoka and FnrrfYgmSchnish ...

Argh!

Momoka, is your crash similar to FnrrfYgmSchnish's?

This might not be music related at all.

The -fb-silence backend from http://HamsterRepublic.com/ohrrpgce/nightly/ would be the quickest test of whether or not it is a midi thing

Hehe :) It is actually possible to get all hole-in-ones without cheating. But the best I have done myself (without cheating) is eight holes in one plus one birdie. The two holes with the rolling wheels are hardest for me. Getting the timing right on those can be excruciating. My only request is lowe...

I am already thinking about the *next* update. No more multi-year update gaps! The next update will complete the Kelp Reef area, but I also want to add some stuff to the beginning of the game too, so feedback and suggestions for anything in the earlier parts of the game are welcome. Three big things...

So I have uploaded a new version here Highlights, for anyone who hasn't bothered to look at the subversion log: * Lots of new text box portraits * A Save-spot in the Gallopeg Forest * Mini-gol...

On the subject of emotion in conversations, I could never work up the pixel-art-courage to make different emoting versions of my NPCs for conversations... but now that text box portraits are available, I am getting tremendous joy out of drawing different expressions for text boxes.

I don't have Vista, but I do have Window 7 duel booted on my mac (hooray for the University getting it early!). If you'd like I can run some tests on it and see if anything freaks out. It's the x64 version too. Anything specific you'd like me to check out on it? Sorry, not on topic with that. Carry...

So let's hypothetically assume some people want to play all the games in this contest, but aren't long-time OHRRPGCE developers. Could you explain to these hypothetical people how to play an .rpg file? And any compatibility issues with Windows Vista? I mean, someone might have them... :( Attention ...

This got me wanting to make my own sea-monster, and also to prove (to my self) that the pixeling method I had just advocated was sane. (I normally do most of my pixeling in the built-in editor) <param name="movie" value="http://www....

Ah. Good question. I have gimp 2.6.6, so it should be pretty darn close. Personally, when I am working with the gimp, I just open up a screenshot of my palette, and use the eyedropper tool to select colors, instead of using the gimp's built-in colorpicker. I leave my sprite in RGB mode until I am re...
