Yes, the instead chain should totally replace the original attack. If it is not happening, then you may have found a bug.

Make sure you don't confuse the "Instead" chain with the "Else" chain, they are very different.

also, you can put a bunch of commas in a row ,,,,,,,,,,,, and they will be treated as just one comma. You can put a comma at the end of the line and it will be totally ignored.

I rank that high (but not highest) in my list of crappy decisions that I made when designing the hamsterspeak language.

I had seen that video once before, but everything looks so colorful and chaotic, I have no idea how it is played. What is the user-interface like? What are you doing with the Wiimote while all that crazy stuff is happening on the screen?

Actually, in Baconthulhu, the money is not NPCs. The money is maptiles in layer 1 (the map itself being in layer 0)

There is an each-step script that uses the "read map block" and "write map block" commands to pick up the money.
