All the Games by Barnabus 6/10 - Even though most of these games were crap, there were a few really funny gems in there (Fear, EZ Art Tutor) and the way they meshed together as a whole and were tied together in "Friends" was pretty cool. Automagically! Bizzaro Carnival in Salad Kingdom by ...

I have uploaded a revision for testing. The bell is now much easier to handle. When you run forward and stop suddenly, the goddess actually jerks her arm forward and gives the bell an extra fling ahead of you. http://hamsterrepublic.com/tmp/bellchaos.zip For me this makes the game massively easier, ...

Beardthar drops Rock-Head on the floor, and brushes the wet sand out of his beard. "My point in asking, to whit; Do we have to kill the goblins in order to get payed by the Green Wheel? Do we still get payed if someone or something else kills them first? Our main goal is just to relight the Tow...

"Ghouls and Giant Snakes! By My Grandmother's Beard, I say the goblins will likely be glad to see us , if they are even still alive." "Seems that the situation is messier than what the Green Wheel guild led us to believe.... Who negotiated this job for us?" And how much compensa...

Huh? How does it relate to battlescripting? I'm just asking for a plotscripting command that would turn a general bitset (assuming pressing enter on battle messages is triggered by a general bitset) on/off. Okay, I see how that would not require write access to attacks, but I wasn't planning on mak...

I am baffled by the request for a player-override for that. I am baffled by the request for a plotscript override for that. The request to plotscript override is just to be able to turn the bitset on and off, that way we can make it an option in the menu ourselves. Well, there is no reason I can't ...

Captions that last until a keypress would be set on an attack-by-attack basis by the game author. I am baffled by the request for a player-override for that. I am baffled by the request for a plotscript override for that. We still won't be able to run scripts in battle. (that will come someday, but ...

Right. Bug 729 And as I think about bug 836, I am beginning to like the idea. Making battle pause on attack captions would have absolutely no effect if the caption was set to "Full Duration of Attack"...

or are the children always under/over the map layers of the parent?
The layering of children is always dependent on the layering of their parent.

Walking back around to the front of the tower, Beardthar heard the loud crash of the door. He runs, thinking something is wrong, but when he has the others in sight, realizes that Ferumbras kicked the door in. Nobody seems to be under attack. Beardthar picks up Rock head, and carries him into the to...

Oo fun! When that happens, I'll probably experiment a little with larger-than-20x20-walkabouts. Yeah, cause when that happens, the heroes and NPCs themselves will be slices too, so you will be able to attach your own slices directly to them. Then all you have to worry about is animating them. Their...

I'm not part of the team so I have no say in this, but I just want to say that i like the Cowboys Vs. Robots story best... with the minor variation that I would tell the story from the point of view of the Robots, with the anti-progress Human cowboys cast as the villains.

Ah, I can explain that. Because the hero layer and the npc layer are not converted to slices yet, the Maproot is not being drawn in the normal way yet.

That will be fixed in the future, but for now, you might be best off parenting your slices to the topmost map layer.
