Ehasim exhales sharply. He feels intensely relieved. he had placed himself in the uncomfortable position of negotiating with this giant deadly beast, and now Vire has released him from the obligation to continue. Vire would have risen in Ehaism's esteem, except that Ehaism is also angry that Vire, t...

Two full nights of sleep, and one interrupted night, by my count.

I think I have 34 hp right now.

Ehaism wrote:I think just he thanked us for delivering ourselves to be his breakfast.
To the dragon, Ehaism paraphrases Kytana's suggestion.

Wise and noble dragon! Wouldn't you like to learn about us and share your knowledge with us rather than eat us?

Ehaism wonders why Vire is just standing there.

I really hope the mouse thing's going to be optional and we'll still be able ot use the keyboard if we want to, though. I've never liked mouse control in games much, especially when it comes to games that have absolutely no reason to use the mouse... Don't worry. I have no intention of removing any...

My goal is to make Wandering Hamster 100% mouse-playable by the HotOHR2012 deadline... and yes I might make some actual game content for it too :)

Ehaism wrote:Ahaha...
Ehaism laughs nervously.

Maybe he can keep it talking? He wishes Vire would say something and take the focus off of himself...

Are you the same dragon we saw fighting that black dragon the other day? You are very strong!

Yeah... maybe kissing scaly slime will help...

Although the Dragon looks pretty hostile, Ehaism hopes maybe he can talk to it. He lies to it in Draconic:

Wait! We come in peace! We mean you no harm!

And then he adds, with all honest sincerity:

Don't hurt us!

It is not worth it to try and figure out how the old awful formula worked.

The old formula was based flukes of the order in which the strength weakness and absorb bitsets were applied. It wasn't really intentionally a "formula" and it never made any sense.

I'm not going to run out and buy one, but I can't wait to run out and play a demonstration model in the store so I can be better informed about whether or not I want one :)

Those portraits are great. Personally I like the middle walkabout. The hair really is obtrusive, but I get the feeling it is *supposed* to be obtrusive. Like she has the idea stuck in her head that it looks cool, and so she insists on wearing it that way, in spite of the inconvenience of having it i...

Even though you can't edit individual palette colors, you can still make use of palette changing to take care of hair color, skin color, and clothing color changes without needing to make separate sprites for each. For sprites you need: Genders x Species x Classes x Hairstyles But you designate cert...

There is no way to change just one color from a 16 color palette. You would have to make a bunch of palettes. There is no way to composite multiple sprites into one. With the choices you have displayed there, you would need 2x6x3=36 different sprite sets, which does sound possible... A lot of work, ...

That is definitely a bug. Can you bugzilla it for me?

Also, does it happen if you run with -gfx sdl on the command line?
