This is a good issue. I re-read Pepsi's zones article after the pictures inclusion. It makes me more excited about zones too :)

The latest RC/nightly build has more gfx_directx fixes. This should fix the graphical glitches caused by the taskbar, and it should fix the slowness that was happening after alt+tabbing away from and back into the program.

Confirmation of these fixes would be much appreciated

The OHR's Normal/Blunt/Sharp damage calculations would be so much better implemented as elementals than as they are now.

Will downloading the Nightly on the OHR's page work? I always use the SDL/native backend (it had something to do with music looping, I think), and I want to continue doing so to test. Yes, the nightly will work, but the bugs I am most interested in squashing right now are all related to the gfx_dir...

Oh, god, I did not need to see that.

Twin, do you think you could turn that Wand of Identify backwards and hit me in the head with it? Maybe I'll forget what I saw

Actually, unless I'm mistaken, that's been replaced by the scroll tool. Personally, I'd like both, as CAPSLOCK is faster for me, but the button works, too... Yes, the Scroll tool has replaced the old Capslock scrolling. You can press S to quickly switch to the scrolling tool, and D to quickly switc...

Re: Zenzizenzic release candidate[3] TESTING TIME!

EDIT: Oh on a side-note the palettes in GAME mess up when full-screening (at least on DirectX GFX builds), can anyone verify this as a common thing or is it just my computer (Win7 32bit)? I've tried messing with compatibility options as-well which had no effect. ------------------------------------...

Hey James, your spreadsheet lists the priceless items as having a gold value of zero. I don't know what value we should assign to them, but zero isn't it. I figured that the Scroll of Becoming Gelatinous should be 0 because it was Lao's quest item, and wouldn't have any meaning to the rest of us. (...

i've seen this annoyingly inconvenient bug since mark/clone existed. it happened every time i "marked" and switched to another tile/frame to "clone". the copied pixels would be waaaaay off centered from the cursor, so i'd have to scroll the graphic (if i even had enough room) to...

In the tileset editor, mark/clone decided to stop remembering its stamped location after 20-30 uses. I'm guesstimating, of course. It was working fine for awhile, but now I can't get it to remember where I left the marked piece before changing tiles to set the new clone down. It keeps returning to ...
