I updated my <a href="http://james.hamsterrepublic.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=36949">minecraft map gallery</a> today. I included a close view of Oxford and the Pyramid <img src="http://james.hamsterrepublic.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=37002&g2_...

The SeasSaw Gunswallow in the Mazes & Hamsters article caused me to repeatedly burst into fits of giggles. I can only guess at what my co-workers thought was wrong with me.

I think the problem is the way you are doing "else". You seem to be leaving out parenthesis (which is the same a leaving out begins and ends) Here is how I write mine: if&#40;condition&#41; then&#40; # action &#41;else&#40; # alternative &#41; which is exactly the s...

The latest WIP nightly build of the OHRRPGCE has a feature that can do the steps FnrrfYgmSchnish describes automatically, and create a zip file that contains everything a Windows user needs to play the game without any other software installation. I also plan to add the ability to export a single-fi...

Since the Oxford college project has gotten so large, I'll make a list of notable features, and planned projects: Even in its incomplete state, Oxford really is amazing. The abandoned mine under Oxford stretches out under the northern lake, and there are already a number of other entrances to it. T...

Could it support Condorcet voting? That would be so wonderful if it could!

Yeah, its not like I expected a "Happy" ending. That would not have fit the story. But I want an ending that says something more than "Everything you worked for meant nothing!" EDIT: I was thinking, that even a terrible and depressing ending is still better than no ending at all....

Last night's rescue mission was a lot of fun! The underside of Oxford is rapidly becoming a complex mesh of secret passages :) The night before last, I fell through one of the same holes that Baconlabs did, although I tunneled out through a different much shallower route that time (I hid both ends o...

I felt the same way about the ending. Missing was such an amazing game while I was playing it, but the ending was so depressing that it soured my whole memory of the game, and made me not want to play again.

Mount James has no faces, it is just a big arch-shaped mountain that I hollowed out and turned into a castle. We do have a pixel-art creeper-head, but I haven't seen any other sculptures yet. I would love to make a Bob statue, but it would be a lot of work to collect enough red and yellow flowers to...

I got the plan for the minecart accelerators from Minecraftwiki.net The efficiency gains are small, but they were fun to build. Mount James is pretty confusing. I add new rooms pretty randomly, and trust to my good spatial memory to help me find my way around. That isn't wheat around my bed, it is s...

Could you whitelist my sister so that I can look around? I think her username is 'thehopper'. thehopper is added to the whitelist. Baconlabs, thanks for fixing the lighting at the Sod House. Yes, the Sod House is the first building I built when the server started, so it is often used conversational...

Since there is no natural corelation between usernames on slimesalad and minecraft usernames, automation would be more trouble than it is worth. I can update the whitelist easily enough manually. I don't think that Minecraft pocket edition can connect to PC servers. Maybe that is a planned feature f...
