I am excited about the higher sky! Fenrir's Space Needle is impressive, so the idea that it can be more than doubled in height is pretty cool! As for vertical travel, I think simple ladders are good enough, but I agree that it would be nice to have something better. I am glad to see the lantern bloc...

My plan does work under the assumption that changes to an NPC's position that are made in custom should take priority over changes that have been saved in RSAV. I think this is reasonable. If you need the NPC to be at a script-specified location, then you do it in the autorun script, and it doesn't ...

I would like a general solution to that problem, and I would like to think about how it should work now, although it can be implemented a s a separate step from implementing the hand-position-saving feature. How about a plotscripting command, "reset hero spell list(who, which)"? Well, tha...

I don't think this is a problem. Practically everything else already works this way. For example, if give a hero some spell, start a new game, and decide later that the hero shouldn't have this spell, my change in custom doesn't affect the saved game. Ditto stat changes. Yeah. That fact bothers me,...

Haha! yes! Here I am :) Well, let me see... This feature would not be as simple as you might hope. It is not just a matter of writing some new commands to read and write data x and y values. Hero hand positions are stored in the hero data lump. Hand positions are not stored in the RSAV file. To make...

Fortunately the server is set to normal difficulty, so Zombies will not be able to smash our doors. But I am pretty sure they will still try, so we will get to hear the noise :)

I used server commands to acquire some Villager Spawn Eggs, and I used them to populate Creeperton, Spawnerton, and Skellington with villagers. As far as I know those are the only villages we spawned before villagers were implemented. In the upcoming 1.2 release, the villagers are supposed to have b...

not sure if this was asked somewhere before, but is there some way to script changes to elemental resistances? i don't see a command like that in the plotscript dictionary, so i'm assuming there isn't. it would be great if you could, though... http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/docs/plotdict.xml#a...

all of the books. classic horror movie style scares. When I played the Library in Bloodlust, I was at work, after hours. I was the only person in the building, and almost all the lights on the floor were turned off, and a wind-storm was making the warehouse next door creek ominously. I don't usuall...

This is so cool I might throw up ;) ... that didn't come out right. My point was that this picture makes me so happy that my digestive system can't handle it.

That sounds interesting! Do you happen to have a recording you could share?

I got curious, so I unlumped Open Trail.rpg, and looked inside. As expected the sound effects were very large, and the music tracks were ginormous. ...strangely ginormous, actually. The largest one was 13 megabytes. I opened it in audacity and re-exported it, and the resulting file was a mere 2.5 me...
