If I was going to draw more for you, how would you want them? are they in the first two slots of each walkabout? the two down slots of each walkabout? Are they packed 4 to a walkabout?

Are you using the default master palette, or some other?

If you had a different glyph for every distinct monster, all drawn in this style, would you use them?

The Von Stabbingmore fanart made me laugh :) I enjoyed both retrospectives. They were both for games that I had not noticed when they were first released. In the 2nd page of the Sky Fliers installment, is Salom's exclamation of "9999" an RPG max damage reference? I love the panel where Bob...

Wow! Nasty piece of work that is! ...One trap down, who knows how many more to go... Let's keep moving Beardthar gently coaxes the mule into moving, hoping it is too dumb to realize that it is being used as a meat shield. When they are past the srpung blade trap, he will repeat the grapple-throwing...

Beardthar stands beside the mule, throws the grappling hook as far as he can down the passage, and then rapidly reels the rope back in, ready to duck behind the mule if anything goes "Twang"

That is a good idea! observes Beardthar, as he watches what Tim-tim is doing. He takes his rope and grappling hook out of the pack. But it won't trigger any traps that it doesn't hit. That trap by the gate was a tripwire, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the Kobold's trigger-of-choice. we can ...

But a Tortured Engineer then falls to his knees, screaming "Why!, oh, god, why? Why must all my engines explode! Nobody understands my engines! Not-exploding doesn't understand my engines!" (pounds forehead against the floor)

... Furthermore, you can slimes it in term of some kind of aesthetic criteria and make a judgement based on that. The qualitative assessment that you are attaching is misplaced. Now I want to know what this word was. Either Mogri hid a few easter-eggs in the word filter, or Swamptroll is swearing i...

Haha! yes, I suppose sometimes I am, just a little bit ;)

But I seriously did have both those dreams.

And I do think it is interesting that Newbie's dream accurately guessed how Beardthar was going to react... either that or he was reading slimesalad while sleepwalking last night!

Yay Salvador Dali elephants! Actually, I think the concept of "Good" is one of those things like Art where it is easy to grasp emotionally, but a precise definition of goodness is terribly elusive. We need shared concepts to be able to communicate with each other, yet the only building blo...

What is an art discussion thread without some pictures! Here is the artist I mentioned in the other thread (Jay McCafferty), he is at work solar-burning one of his pieces, and you can see how little of it remains: <img src="http://www.randomlengthsnews.com/archive/burningdec22.jpg"> Newbie...

I had a dream about giant brightly colored luxury cruise ships being retrofitted to serve as aircraft carriers, and about an old dog being jealous of a puppy and demanding human hugs

Beardthar steps aside to let Akbar push past. He feels pretty safe with both the Mule and the Paladin in the lead. Beardthar keeps looking around, trying to spot anything interesting as they go in. His long devotion to the Trees and Birds and Stars of Druidic discipline have not dulled his childhood...
