PS: I have had a semi-recurring script error, but I've noticed no problems with hitting ignore. I think it has something to do with a gas trap triggering at the same time a torch is about to runs out, I'll copy the exact message next time I see it Check your g_debug.txt and g_debug_archive.txt file...

I think the terror inspired by monsters is a result of the average player's first few nights in single-player. People who start right in on multiplayer and learn from others never get to experience the same level of terror that one gets from being repeatedly and rapidly murdered before you learn how...

Oh! And another thing about the "define script" commands that I didn't notice before. You have two of them with the same ID number, and that definitely is a problem. All the more reason not to use define script at all.

Yes, indenting is super helpful! It makes it so much easier to spot missing/incorrect parenthesis and "end"s

Also, delete the "define script" commands entirely. Those are only for old-style scripts and you haven't needed them since 2005.

If you find any example scripts on the wiki or anywhere else that use the old-style "define script" let me know so I can fix them.

Usually the easiest thing is to have just one death script that does different things based on if/then/else conditions

@Mogri: interesting. I'll have to think about how implementation would work, but that is not a bad idea. It seems like it would allow a lot of fake-battlescripting, but would still remain useful after battlescripting is implemented.

@MasterK: okay!

Because of the new larger party, I think our battles will move a lot smoother if we queue attacks a little in advance, whenever it makes sense to. Don't wait for your turn to come up to post what you are planning to do! Remember you can say things like: If (enemy) is still alive, attack it, otherwis...

(when his turn comes) Beardthar had been intending to rush back to Saint Akbar to heal him with the seneschal's rod, but upon seeing a gnoll round the corner, he isn't sure that is the best idea. he passes the seneschal's rod to Peanut, saying: Help Akbar, if you can! He then readies himself to sma...

I don't know the first thing about Ravenloft, but I wish you well in this project.

Is the fog done with slices or done with a map layer?
