I will mostly be working on my Non-OHRRPGCE game, "Bob the Hamster - DIRT DIG" but I also intend to add friendly mer-sheep NPCs to this map in Wandering Hamster <img src="http://james.hamsterrepublic.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=37087&g2_serialNumbe...

Just some crazy-talk here, this isn't a promise of a new feature; but what if we had a sprite database website, and when you were in custom, and you exported a sprite-set, you had an option that would automatically upload it to the sprite website? custom already knows how to use the wget tool to dow...

Good lord! This game is brutal! On my very first play on "Simple", I died so fast that I couldn't even see the play field. I thought I had found a bug that kicked me back to the title screen instead of starting the level. After almost 20 minutes of solid play, here are my high scores: Simp...

I just played Questicle. Fun! I kept getting as far as the Dragon, and then getting blasted. I kept trying over and over and eventually, I got this error message: http://i.imgur.com/HozwScn.png Some script is never ending, perhaps calling itself, or maybe calling something else that calls something ...

Ah! So much good stuff here. I am glad to read all this, because it gives me perspectives on how these things might be used differently than I have experience with. As for A* paths, I had been originally thinking about an interface something like this: p := find path(x1,y1, x2, y2, c...

I am glad to hear the script issue is solved.

What is wrong with "Test Game"? Can you describe exactly how custom and game refuse to work together? Are you getting an error message? What happens?

Yeah, "Nerfed bone meal" would have been a better description.

Yay! I am excited about more Phantom Tactics!

This reminds me that I really want A-star pathfinding and Dijkstra range-finding as built-in features. Your input Mogri, would be valuable as to how a plotscript interface for these should look.

I love the idea of joining contests in other game making communities. If anybody hears about a contest somewhere that OHRRPGCE games would be eligible for, please do post about it. (The next Ludumdare isn't until April by the way)

I am proud of everybody who entered this contest. I still haven't finished playing the games, but I have found something to like in everything I have played so far. Since the HotOHR contest is bi-annual, maybe later this year I should organize another Finish-Your-Dang-Game contest. I would love to s...

There are signs to this effect at the teleportation station, but it bears repeating here: Anybody visiting the Walled Castle Building site should kindly refrain from creating any nether portals until after the 1.5 update is released. The 1.5 update will add a nether ore called Nether Quartz, which c...
