I had thought about that. In fact, thats what I have going on in Tim-Tim 2. However, I think it would the size of change I'm trying to avoid. It's not that I don't want the game to be better, it's just that if I start reworking things like that, I'll want to start reworking other things, and before...

I made an attempt at mapping the gamepad buttons appropriately, and played for a while on the OUYA. I was able to beat Steve the fire-breathing Dinosaur, who I remember being mercilessly difficult in my first playthrough For gamepad play, I was thinking it would be most awesome if you could have two...

Good work, Meow, Imagine!

I haven't spent much time this weekend working on any of my own games, but I did work on trying to get Vikings of Midgard running smoothly on the OUYA

8-bit means we impose some rules to make sure games resemble the style of 8-bit consoles like the NES.

I don't remember precisely, but I think the limits were 16 colors in the master palette, and 4 colors per sprite (I can't remember if that was counting transparent as a color)

In my entire life, I have never seen a single pump-first-pay-after gas station anywhere in California.

Maybe californians invented pump-and-run a few decades before the ne'er-do-wells of the rest of the world thought of it ;)

EDIT: What the heck is a pump attendant?

I remember being utterly astonished when I went to a gas station in Tennessee, and I walked inside to pay, and the guy at the cash register looked at me strangely, and said "but you haven't pumped yet"

I really like how the new version has a more defined chin.

Why does his left ear seem to be flapping? I notice the template doesn't have that.

Overall, lots of improvement, good work!

That would be cool. You could use a slice collection to lay out the paperdoll and the armor templates, and then just draw a bunch of armor sprites to match the template sizes. Keeping track of the mapping between sprites and items would be the only difficult part, I think... Well, except that you wo...

I usually use method 1, but sometimes method 2. In wandering hamster I rarely ever use default passability, and I implemented the bitset for disabling default passability by default because I would get so annoyed when my hand-crafted walls would get messed up by default passability. However, in some...

If it was just a matter of changing the order of the data records, it would not be difficult What makes re-ordering data in the OHRRPGCE difficult is the fact that the ID number of data is the same as the order the data appears in the file, and that ID number is used everywhere that refers to that d...

Oh! A manlier beard! I thought you had added a big bushy moustache. Pixel art interpretation is subjective at best, but here are how I see Fred's old and new faces <img src="http://i.imgur.com/KcBkOmR.png"> The old face seems noseless and anime-esque, which might not be what you wanted, bu...
