Thank you for detailing all that, Fenrir! I appreciate it! While I definitely don't want to drive game authors away by censoring their work, I also very much don't want to drive game authors away by not having any kind of community standards about appropriate content. Those are challenging things to...

"See? What could be safer than a garden?" Catt ignores the supply room for now, wandering into the garden room. She starts to scout its perimeter moving along the left-hand wall. She won't go to far, wanting to stay within easy shouting range of her friends, especially if they linger to r...

"Totally safe!" Confirms Catt in a chipper tone

Then she carefully walks south until she can see around the fork in the path. She would actually like to make a more informed assessment of the safety of the south passage.

"This way looks a little bit safe-ish" announces Catt.

She watches Valie's and her familiar, waiting to see if they learn anything useful.

"Who's got the statue? Boots, do you have it?" Catt asks, remembering that it was supposed to be useful for finding their way.

"Well that sounds... Friendly..." Cat mutters. "Probably a band of welcoming skeletons dragging a concessions cart"

The south exit is the obvious escape route, so Catt heads over there and starts checking the passage for traps"

"Hmmmm..." Catt hmmms. "Somebody coming from this way..." Catt goes to the east door and looks and listens carefully, both for more hints about the approaching footsteps as well as for hidden traps in this direction. "Maybe it's somebody friendly..." She speculates hop...

Catt glances between Boots, and the others on the floor, just beginning to stir.

"Traps, huh? That doesn't sound like afterlife stuff... But it does sound like Catacombs stuff."

She visually inspects the room, but does not get up yet, waiting for the others to wake up and speak.

I always dislike picking favorites, but I will attempt to participate in this vote. I still have plenty of time, right?

I am reminded of how many games I have not yet taken the time to play!

"Oh, Slime!" Catt exclaims, flopping up into a sitting position and looking around, alarmed. It hasn't yet occurred to her that the charming storyteller who entertained her and her friends and gave them the gift of that nice little statue might have been something other than a teller of t...

Right now I am pretty happy with how mouse walking on the map works. Less so with the mouse support in battles and menus. They work, but not as well as I would like, for example, targeting spells and items in battle feels clunky still. So does scrolling up and down in the save/load screens (especial...

Who has tried mouse controls?

So I am curious: who has tried out the built-in mouse controls for games in the nightly wip builds?

I haven't heard much feedback about it, and I am kinda assuming that nobody is using it?

Buffer() is just a big array of integers. It is filled with data from the old .sav file. The part of savegame.rbas you were reading was only about the old .sav format. A separate part of that file loads the newer .rsav format

I figured out how to record myself playing games on my phone, and I am almost finished with my playthrough of Kaiju Big Battel, so I might actually have the ability and time to playtest for you. I can also set up the Android packaging for you, thus killing two space birds with one space stone. Does ...
