Cool! That does sound right. I will be patient and persistent, and I will continue working on training my ear. Is there a way to prevent milkytracker from advancing the cursor downwards when I type a note? Since it takes me quite a few tries to find the note I am looking for, it would be great if I ...

Resurrecting this thread to BE the music thread! So on sheamkennedy's advice, I went through a few tutorials on milkytracker, and learned how to load and edit instruments, how to place and play notes, and I now feel like I have a *much* better grasp of the interface. I can successfully make sequence...

I don't get why more people aren't throwing their games up on Android. Horse Game has 900 downloads and a 4.5/5 average rating and it's barely a game. Anything free you put up there is going to get a lot more views than it ever will here. Yes, this! I am still very happy to help people package thei...

@sheamkennedy: Does milkytracker require an external keyboard? That would certainly explain why I haven't been able to get anywhere with it. The only programs I have ever managed to make anything resembling music with are Mario Paint and notate.exe. Whenever I look at tracker software I always get l...

It is tough to get help, especially on graphics. Everybody usually has more game ideas than they know what to do with, but sprite art takes a lot of practice, and even when you have the experience it still takes time. But I think the more of your own work you show, the more people will be willing to...

Oh boy! So much good feedback! Thank you all for playing :) I am updating my TODO list with many suggestions and bug reports. @sheamkennedy: can you direct me towards a good milkytracker tutorial that is geared towards the absolute beginner? Youtube tutorials make my skin crawl, but if that is the o...

There are a couple ways to accomplish this, but I think the easiest one is probably to create a slice collection that looks like a text box (1 rectangle slice, with a wrapping text slice inside it) and load that in your script. EDIT: unless you mean you want to be able to do this with *all* text box...

I am curious what that awesome jumble of town is hanging from. Magic skyhooks? Ancient airship? Candy-cane shaped mountain-peak just off camera?

This looks like a great port.

Speaking of selling games, I made my first $1 sale today of Crypt of Baconthulhu on itch.io Of course after paypal fees, that is $0.66 but it is a token show of support that makes me smile. Combined with the 33.46 I have earned from the OUYA version (after fees) I calculate that if I was paying myse...

I am digging the new tiles. I especially like the rocky walls, both the stone walls that replace the white walls in the church, and the walls in the prison-cave area.

Do you have any before/after screenshots of text boxes so we can see the change in the dialog? (even if it is a little spoilery)

The current development version is available as nightly WIP builds We are still a good ways off from the next stable update, but it expect it to happen this year. Android support works, but right now it requires compiling from source code, which is somewhat difficult to do. If someone has a game tha...
