Actually, it would be quite easy to remove the restriction on placing enemies over the hero area in battle formations. That is something I have been meaning to do for a while, and I will make that change soon. As for hero formation stances, I was planning on something like that, including the stat b...

It actually only goes line-by-line, not letter-by-letter. There is not an option for changing this right now, although I agree it would be nice to have more options. I got it now! :) Whoah! I didn't realize I could push the 2-block more than a single space away from its starting point. I was always charging at it full speed, so it would push one tile and then snap back. Now that I see how it works, I am surprised I didn't figure it out on my own. I might have be...

Is a fix for the DirectX slowdown bug too much to ask for? I probably can't help with that one. I don't know anything at all about the gfx_directx backend, and I have never compiled it, and I don't own a Windows computer (I borrow one from work to make the windows nightly builds) I think I remember...

This is a pretty cool idea. I would be happy to contribute stuff. I love pixel art, and having a full-color paper book of examples of it made by you all sounds really awesome. Is the primary purpose of this book to be an artbook? or is the primary purpose to be a tutorial book? Do you want this book...
